I have found a workaround that works for me in Windows 11. I'm not sure if this will help anyone else or if you will have the same screen options that I have. Here are the steps I use:

    1) Go to Inbox
    2) Right click "New Message"
    3) From the resulting dropdown menu, choose "More Tools", then "Open in Sidebar". This creates a clone of my Inbox in the sidebar.
    4) In the sidebar, click the "Expand Window" icon in the upper right (box with diagonal arrow). This opens the sidebar in a new tab.
    5) In this new tab, close the sidebar using the X in the upper right corner of the sidebar.
    6) Your original window is now full screen, and your second window is also full screen. Both windows can be sized or positioned as you like. I can create more tabs by repeating the procedure.

Hope this helps at least some people.
