This is a thing I've NEVER understood with Proton Drive. Unlike Dropbox et al (you have one folder, it syncs) on Proton Drive I get multiple folders based on how many machines I have. How do I keep those separate machines in sync without getting "versioning ****"? As OP states, if I have multiples of all the files it not only uses twice the space on my cloud storage, but also all symbolic links/shortcuts etc get all screwed up as things are on different places on different machines. It would be SOOO much easier if I had a folder called "Proton Drive" and that folder synced from the cloud to all my machines/devices. Like Dropbox. Or OneDrive. Or iCloud. Or pCloud. Or...well, anyone and everyone.
