In the Windows desktop app, these photos are completely inaccessible (not synced, not visible as files, no Photos tab). This breaks a basic desktop workflow: I need automatically backed-up photos to be accessible locally on Windows without opening a browser. Either: - expose the Photos section in the Windows app - or sync Photos as a regular folder (e.g. "Camera Uploads") in File Explorer. Photo backup from mobile uploads images into the "Photos" section, which is visible only in web/mobile.
In the Windows desktop app, these photos are completely inaccessible (not synced, not visible as files, no Photos tab).
This breaks a basic desktop workflow: I need automatically backed-up photos to be accessible locally on Windows without opening a browser.
Either:
- expose the Photos section in the Windows app
- or sync Photos as a regular folder (e.g. "Camera Uploads") in File Explorer.
Without this, Proton Drive cannot replace other cloud solutions for desktop-centric workflows.
