To limit number of clicks needed to view all unread emails, it would be nice to have a setting where a default view could be selected when opening the app. In my case, being able to select All Mail would be helpful but I've also seen other posts where people would like to be able to select a created folder.

I'm constantly jumping right to All Mail due to having filters that move emails to folders.

Right now I have quite a few filters to automatically move emails to folders/subfolders. However, currently the best way to see if I have new emails is to look at All mail but All Mail of course contains absolutely everything often making it harder to find what I'm looking for.

In would be nice if any parent folders would display the count of any unread emails so I don't have to first open the parent folder and/or further parent subfolders to view unread email counts. Once there a quite a few folders/subfolders, it's not that fun opening each one to see if any new emails have arrived.
