Displaying folder metadata seems like an obvious thing to do for a file storage system. The application for me is - After uploading from cell phone to Proton Drive in the cloud, you need to do a parity check - ie, are the same number of files in the donor folder on the phone as exist in the Proton Drive folder. Only then do you know that upload has succeeded and can delete the donor drive.
