Not only is getting a notification every time an email arrives unhelpful, it numbs us to even looking at them at all. If I could tag certain senders or groups of senders, that would be most helpful though. By "groups," I mean: If I filter important senders into a particular folder, getting a notification of all emails that go into that particular folder would be very helpful. Ideally, getting notifications for any such folder I create would be helpful but I doubt I'd want to get special notifications for many such folders.
