I work extensively with Claude. I'm a Proton user and, unfortunately, I can't use Claude with my email. Gmail users hand over an OAuth token with standing access to their entire mailbox — I don't want that, but I would like triage and drafting capabilities, if possible. Bridge already decrypts on my machine, so an official Proton MCP server would let me expose one thread at a time to an agent I choose, instead of granting a provider blanket access forever, and Proton itself would still never hold the plaintext. That's not a compromise on E2E — it's the only architecture where I get an AI assistant and stay the one deciding what it sees. Just food for thought.
