    I second this. A specific use case for this: I have a bunch of duplicate photos in my Proton Drive. If I could just run a deduplication tool on my Windows machine on a folder with all my photos, that fix would be a no-brainer. Now, I need to manually review, select and delete using a web browser UI.

    There is also a case with using more complex CLI tools and AI agents to refine, deduplicate or enrich photo and EXIF data - which is not possible now that the photos are "locked down" and inaccessible as normal files.
