    I think it would be best if the MCP server was part of the Desktop Apps, allowing for zero network traffic when possible (cached data) and accepting only secure same machine connections.

    MCP server settings would also help (i.e., read only vs. trusted agent).

    I think it would be best if the MCP server was part of the Proton Mail Desktop App, allowing for zero network traffic and accepting only secure same machine connections.

    I really want to be able to use proton mail (read) with my Ollama stack for local AI ingest.

    I hate the current solution of using Bridge, as it costs more space (2 copies of each message), and I'm never sure the messages will stay encrypted in rest.
