I've been a proton customer for 5+ years. I'll be looking for a new service to migrate too soon if Proton can't get a leash on Andy Yen. The articles I read about how he's treating staff that are showing valid concerns about the dangers of leaning into AI for development are unhinged to me. He's not fit for his role anymore. I won't feel safe using Proton products until he's gone or has course corrected in a meaningful way. I'll probably be looking to migrate to Tuta services until then.

I'm a 5+ year customer of proton services. I side with the staff. Proton's executive leadership are becoming deranged. I think AI Psychosis is the only development they've been occupying themselves with for awhile now. They need to step down and let the real developers continue developing products infused with integrity, ethics, and meaningful benefits to the users. The staff needs to Unionize and collectively protect the good work they do at Proton. The executives are betraying them and the users.
