allow temporary email addresses with a - instead of a +. 2 banks refuse to accept email addresses with a + in them as "valid." Everybody I have an account with has it's own Yahoo disposable address. Having a unique address helps authenticate any email they send me. If the banks believed emails with a + were valid, what you already have would be fine. But the bank sites say the email address username+thebank@protonmail.com is not a valid email address. Yahoo disposables all contain a "-" I've been using them for years. Note my recovery address contains a - here at Protonmail so I know what you send there comes from you not a spoofer. The banks accept them as valid. Can you set it up so users can do the same thing with a - instead of a +? One reason I'm with Protonmail Plus is I don't trust the new owners of Yahoo to continue the disposable address feature. Unless a lot of people have open accounts with a - in them it should be simple. Please respond to my protonmail account. Thanks.
