    Is there no way out of Google? There must be some *extremely* weird reason why a zillion ppl can say "We do not care about the push-aspect so plz just (1) either put it on f-droid or (2) give us a apk link!!!", AND THEN.... NOTHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS AT ALL!!
