While I agree there is a serious problem I don't see a practical solution.
BlackBerry's infrastructure and devices were far more private and useful than google and Android. But BlackBerry is dead.
Sheeple are eager and willing to embrace the surveilance society in exchange for making their lives easier. Do you know anybody who doesn't have Android TV or Apple with Siri? All the sheeple in the world willingly give up all their privacy for convenience. Sick, but no way to fight it.
The problem is apps. If nobody supports private apps you will not be able to rent a car or a motel room, buy tickets to a concert etc. It's game over, folks. The only thing we can do privately is calls and emails. Ecommerce is a security and privacy nightmare that is out of control.
