I fully support Milos' feature request: I would LIKE to be able to customize the email too, and would NEED to be able to do so in Dutch. Some of my family/friends/acqaintances only understand Dutch well enough, and most would ignore any English ProtonMail encryption message completely.
Yes, I would like to be able to have a DEFAULT customized text for the notification email, AND be able to override that default on a per email/recipient basis.
I do understand the sentiment of the other commenters about privacy reduction, but in the end that is the choice of the ProtonMail user, isn't it. As for the suggested "solution" of offline contact about one's ProtonMail account, this totally goes against the ease and swiftness of "quickly emailing somebody". And informing others through regular email totally goes against the reason for using ProtonMail in the first place: privacy and security.
