I'm totally seconding this request!!! And I gave this person my vote (2 votes)! And I've requested this same feature several times in the past. All other e-mail services except for ZOHO offer the ability to choose the option of sort/list e-mails by sender instead of only by their date, new, already read, etc. And is a vital feature for at least 314 users who voted on this recommendation already made by several other users, possibly even more users want this but have not come forward because maybe they didn't know how to articulate it. So many commenters have reiterated these requests. "Bruc3 l33" on May 11, 2017 said: "im missing this funktion, too. will it come?" And then "E" on May 30, 2018 said: "Agreed!!!, I hope more users can vote for this feature, it will help a lot when searching some emails by sender." And then "esthetic1" on March 07, 2020 said, "Please also allow sorting by Sender, by Description and by Date column. Also these should have a header column." And then "kristie" on October 09, 2018 said, "I am moving away from gmail because it doesn't have the ability to sort by sender. If protonmail can't do this either I will need to look for another vendor. Why is this such a thing that email providers don't do anymore?" And then "George" on December 08, 2018 said, "Please make sorting of contacts available." And then "Jaco" on November 16, 2017 said, "Sorting by the sender (contact) is the quickest way to boost productivity when processing your email because it allows you to quickly remove low priority mail." And then "Sarah F" on October 08, 2017 said, "Sorting is a such a basic and useful tool, that I can't understand why it isn't offered, in addition to the filters, which are also useful. There has to be a reason. I can only assume that filters allow you to monitor your clients somehow where sorting does not. Admittedly, pure speculation on my part. Please add the sort feature. There are times when email just gets backed up, and being able to sort by sender is the difference between spending minutes or spending hours cleaning it up. The only alternative is for me to have ProtonMail forward all of my e-mails to a service like YAHOO MAIL so that I can then sort through my thousands of senders. That's currently what I do with ZOHO sending everything from ZOHO to YAHOO and if it doesn't affect security then I'll do that with ProtonMail also, having ProtonMail forward all emails to YAHOO, but aside from worrying that doing such will decrease security, I also don't trust YAHOO to be around as long or as reliable as ProtonMail and prefer just being able to keep all my eggs/e-mails in one basket/ProtonMail (in spite that being a proverbial risk) primarily because ProtonMail has the BEST folder setup. I'm praying you add this new feature which isn't new in this industry and is already used by ALL email services except for ZOHO and ProtonMail. And is a vital feature for several of your users, possibly even more users but they can't articulate it as well as I can and so they have not come forward and asked.
