iPad Website Scrolling
When viewing an email, if you try and scroll down it does not work. You have to move your cursor to the side of the email into a very tiny space that belongs to the Proton UI. Obviously you can scroll from tapping wherever you want just not using the iPad touchpad.

Restrict SMTP Token to Specific Recipients to Limit Damage if Leaked
I need a secure way to use SMTP tokens on a webserver so that, if a token gets leaked, the potential damage is limited as much as possible.
My main requirement:
The token should only be usable to send emails to a specific set of recipients. I want to be able to define (and limit) allowed recipients (by full email address, or by recipient hostname) when generating or issuing the SMTP token.Key points:
The SMTP token must not be valid for sending to all addresses; it should work only for the recipient addresses or domains I specify.
If the token is exposed, it must not allow sending emails to others, to reduce the risk of abuse or spam.
I don’t want “all or nothing” tokens; the access needs to be tightly scoped per recipient.
If possible, enforce these limits at the mail server / provider level, not just in the sending client.
Why this matters:
If someone steals the token, they should not be able to send spam or phishing attacks to people outside my allowed list.
This prevents major abuse and protects my system and reputation.
Concrete Request:
Please explain how to set up such restricted SMTP tokens, or provide a solution so tokens can be generated and limited for use only with specified recipient addresses or domains.I need a secure way to use SMTP tokens on a webserver so that, if a token gets leaked, the potential damage is limited as much as possible.

Events should overlap instead of always taking up separate columns
Like in google calendar, smaller events inside larger events should overlap on top of the larger event instead of forcing the larger event to be half of the column size. This makes it easier to view events at the same time. For example, I have "work" in my calendar, but I also have meetings throughout my day in my calendar. This causes work to become half-sized instead of just overlapping the meeting on top of the work event.

Composer placement and reply experience
On desktop, the Composer has two modes: Normal and Maximized. The issue is that when replying to a message, the Composer overlays the email thread. This makes it frustrating to:
1) constantly scroll or minimize the Composer to view previous emails for context, or
2) manually drag the Composer to the left side for every reply.Suggestions:
- Short term: Allow users to set a default Composer position (left or right side of the screen)
- Mid term: Redesign the experience so that replies are embedded in the email thread by default, using the pop-up Composer only as a fallback or a standalone setting option. On desktop, the Composer has two modes: Normal and Maximized. Add option to disable update notice for proton-mail desktop app
I use the desktop application on CachyOS which I know is not a supported distro, I am not asking for official support but I hate that annoying blue banner at the top just because my desktop app is a single build version behind the official packaging. I would like the option that most other linux applications have to disable self-checking for updates. A simple toggle would be fine.

Moving a mail away from sent folder with "drag-and-drop" or "move" does not work.
I'm new to Proton mail. Moving a mail from sent folder with drag-and-drop does not work. Translated from my local language it says: "Moving 1 message" and "Message is moved".
However the message is NOT moved but only copied.
If I open a mail and use the icon "Move" it is the same problem
Firefox browser in newest version and Proton app for windows both have this problem.
A friend reports the same problem when using a mobile phone2 votes -
have the option to copy email and attach it to a new email
Hi,
How often you want to share a email trail as "justification" to a different recipient. You can of course "select" to content but that often goes bad on an phone, but if we would be able to "copy" an email and attach it the a new mail it would make life hugely easier for any user

Event Types - Tasks
Would love an event type for Tasks like Google has. This would be something that would send a reminder, but roll over day to day until marked completed.

Toolbar choice PLZ
Hello!
This applies to Protonmail on the computer and NOT on mobile/tablet.
The placement of the toolbar for fonts, font size, emojis, alignment, etc. This is at the bottom. Something that is logical when you have the email on your mobile, but absolutely not logical when you have the email on your computer. The toolbar shall in the top. Its like that for me at least and maybe for others as well?!
I want the toolbar at the top bellow the "topic", as it makes it much easier for me when I write. Now that the toolbar is at the bottom, I have to take my eyes off the text and thus my writing flow is ruined and I lose focus and have to "start over" when I, for example, add an emoji, change the font or something else.
If the toolbar is at the top, it is much easier. I don't lose focus, I get a steady writing flow. Therefore, it is desirable to be able to choose whether you want the toolbar at the top or at the bottom.
I will honestly say that I have really tried to get used to the toolbar being at the bottom for many months now, but it is not working.
Today, many people have their email on their mobile/tablet and that is probably why not many people react to this. But there are still many who use their computers for email like I do.
We are all different and have different ways that are good for us and that we are comfortable with. That is why I wish there was a choice of placing the toolbar at the top or bottom.

Custom recurrence rules
I was not able to import a following recurring event via an .ics file:
BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20250124 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20250125 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=FR;BYMONTHDAY=23 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=FR;BYMONTHDAY=24 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=MO,TU,WE,TH,FR;BYMONTHDAY=25 SUMMARY:Paycheck END:VEVENTI would like to have a possibility to import this. This is supported by e.g. Google Calendar which I have replaced with Proton Calendar.
More broadly this is to have support for importing recurring events with "custom" rules that wouldn't be possible to be created with the Calendar's UI.

Pull-down or placement-editable button to sequester suspicious emails and/or emails known to contain trackers that cause problems.
Pull-down or placement-editable button to sequester suspicious emails and/or emails known to contain trackers that cause problems. Tracking emails can cause system glitches and have (for me) caused the Proton Mail App to dump repeatedly until the problem email was removed. Additionally, users should be able to report and send emails to technical support [zen desk or tech person or automated system] to be processed for problems in sime fashion.

Allow UI zoom for desktop application
As a user, I want to be able to zoom into and out of the reading pane, so I can more easily see the text of my emails.
Rationale: Presently, the application seems to default to desktop resolution but the UI and text are very small and I cannot increase them. Being older and having poor eyesight, this makes it very difficult to use the desktop application. In contrast, using the webmail interface, you can easily increase the zoom as needed to make things readable.
