Improve email filters for correspondents
Simple improvement: please add an option for "to, from, or cc" so that no matter how an address appears it will trigger the filter. this will eliminate the need to create multiple filters for the same address or criteria.
thanx and keep up the good work!4 votes -
Make the 'Today" indicator in the View by Month grid more visible
The current "Today" indicator on the view by month grid, just a thin purple line around the date, is very feeble and difficult to spot. Make it more visible by filling with a bright colour or making it 'jiggle' a few times when the Today button is pressed, to draw attention to it.

Making Optional Removal for Session Management
Under the Security and Privacy section of Proton Mail, I would like to see an option to hide all active sessions from view. This would help protect user privacy by preventing anyone auditing the account from seeing detailed session information. The “Revoke All Sessions” button could remain available, but instead of listing each session with full details, the interface could simply display the number of active sessions or just completely hidden. If a user wishes to view session details, doing so could automatically revoke all existing sessions for security.

Advise of "automatic changes"
Prime example: Newsletters folder.
I did not request or want this as I only have TWO possible frequent "newsletters" which I have autoset to move tfrom Inbox o the relevat folder[s].
ALL new features, unless Security/Privacy" should have an ON/OFF switch, OPTION!
In my case it is just a "blank folder name" taking up space on the list of folders.

Notifications for when calendar event is ending
I need a notification sometimes for when my events are ending not just when they're beginning.
It would really help me keep track of the passing of time when I'm deep into my work/study time and need to clock out/wrap up on time.
I'd suggest it work the same way notifications are set up at the beginning of an event, especially that it is an event by event basis to opt into and that you can customize the time of notification (could be 10 min or 30 min etc)
Thank you for considering and reading! I'd appreciate a vote in solidarity even if you're not a time-blind person!

Allow downloading attachments without having to open the email first.
Automated statement emails, etc. have no use other than the attachments linked to them. It is a waste of time having to open each one just to download the attachments. It would be very convenient to be able to download one or more emails' attachments with a single button click.

Allow the Creation of ProtonPass Aliases on Mobile like you do on Web and Desktop
Like on Desktop or on the Web, please add an option to create and manage protonpass (Simplelogin) email addresses right from within the protonmail mobile app.
I do not use protonpass for anything else and it would save me a lot of hassel.
Thanks!

Go to Folder
In Proton Mail's web application, I would like to go easily to a particular folder. Convenient ways would be:
- A 'Go to Folder...' shortcut (much like the very useful 'M' shortcut to move a message to a folder). 'Shift + M' is a natural candidate.
- When viewing a message listed in 'All mail', this message's folder icon appears (on the same line as the 'From' field, between the 'Star' icon and the 'time received'). Clicking on this icon currently folds the message, but it could instead offer me some actions such as 'Go to folder' or 'Move to other folder...'I am trying to maintain a clean (i.e. empty) Inbox. So I usually view new emails in the 'All mail' section, with the 'Show: Unread' "filter" active. When I view a new email, it's usually been automatically moved by a Custom Filter to some folder, sometimes deep in the hierarchy. If I need to access that message's folder, currently the only way I know of is to click my way down that hierarchy on the left panel, which is cumbersome.

Print button above each received email
In the desktop app above each email are some buttons, make unread, bin, move to folder, tag, filter. Is it possible to make these changeable or that one can add a few? Printing a lot of emails is cumbersome at the moment as it's only possible to select the printing icon when opening the drop down menu of these icons.

Email reminders not available in Calendar mobile app
When creating a calendar appointment, the option to set a reminder to be sent via email is only available in the desktop client and the web app, but not in the mobile app - here, it's only possible to set reminders via notification. It would be nice if the email option was available in the mobile app as well.

How to Unlock Password-Protected PST Files for Seamless Backup and Recovery?
I have several old Outlook PST files that are password-protected, and I need to access them for creating a backup and ensuring recovery options are available. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the passwords for these files, which is preventing me from proceeding. Can anyone suggest reliable methods or tools to unlock password-protected PST files safely without risking data loss? I am looking for a solution that works smoothly and allows me to regain full access so I can back up and restore my Outlook data without issues.

More options for end dates on recurring events
When entering recurrence the end date options are only "Never", "On date" and ""After". Can you add options to end:
"After X occurrences"
"After X months"
"At the end of the year"11 votes -

"Show busy times" for mobile
Add 'show busy times' when planning an appoinment with others on the mobile app.
Appointments are often planned on the go when one is not at the computer.
Therefore, it is essential that the Proton Calendar app shows me the 'busy times' of other people when I am planning an appointment with them, so that the appointment can be scheduled appropriately.
Otherwise, the mobile app is useless for creating appointments with others.

Use AI to locate and discard anything which isn't relevant anymore in ProtonMail
I think it would be incredibly useful to have AI (local) scan my mail, determine if it is relevant (i.e., "This link will expire in 15 minutes", "This code will expire in 3 days", "Please respond to this unimportant within 5 days or a normal thing will happen..."), and delete it (or flag for deletion) for me.
I often read email, forget to delete it, and it piles up. Perhaps a good way to ensure irrelevance is to only take action on emails which are already read.
Give the user the option to either Archive it or Delete it.

Custom recurrence rules
I was not able to import a following recurring event via an .ics file:
BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20250124 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20250125 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=FR;BYMONTHDAY=23 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=FR;BYMONTHDAY=24 RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=MO,TU,WE,TH,FR;BYMONTHDAY=25 SUMMARY:Paycheck END:VEVENTI would like to have a possibility to import this. This is supported by e.g. Google Calendar which I have replaced with Proton Calendar.
More broadly this is to have support for importing recurring events with "custom" rules that wouldn't be possible to be created with the Calendar's UI.

Enable replication of email actions in EMClient
When I used Outlook together with EMclient, any email action in one app (e.g. delete or saving in a folder) would be replicated in the other app.
I now use EMclient together with Protonmail because at least I can sort by sender in EMclient - which a long overdue feature in Protonmail. But if i delete an email in EMclient its still sits there in Protonmail and is difficult to find amongst the many many pages of emails that have stacked up.
Replication of email actions in one app - Protonmail - needs to be replicated in the other app - in this case EMclient and vv.
To not provide this capability is living is the ages of dinosaurs - move on Protonmail or I will. When I used Outlook together with EMclient, any email action in one app (e.g. delete or saving in a folder) would be replicated in the other app.

Silently mark as read duplicate messages that I receive because the message was sent directly to me and a mailing list I'm on
Right now, if I'm on a mailing list (say, bicyclists@asdf.com) and a message is sent to both me and the mailing list, I get the message twice. It'd be nice if Proton either never shows me the second message (strongly preferred), or marks the duplicate message as read once I've read one copy of the message.
This happens frequently when someone replies to a message I've sent to a list, because they hit Reply-All.

Create outgoing filters for the email and be able to send them to a folder.
Add to the current filtering the ability to recognize the outgoing recipient, and be able to be filtered into a folder or folders.
