Love this idea. Would like to use a domain which sounds sexy and is easy to read (alternating vovels and consonants) and is easy to remember.

You can't make it pm.ch because the .ch registry has reserved two-character domains to cantons and federal agencies (e.g. ch.ch) only.

proton.com -1 (when shorting, then correctly. 2 or 3 letters would be nice!)

Protonmail.com or protonmail.ch seem a little long domain for normal use email ids. Not just that, it also limits the number of username combinations possible.

As someone pointed out proton.com would be a great domain. I would further suggest that country specific domains be introduced later like proton.in (India), proton.co.nz (New Zealand) and so on.

Further it would also be nice if these new domains are offered to existing Protonmail domain and later to general public.
