It looks great now if you ask me. I'd rather want a useful and good UI than a pretty but useless UI. Too many go that route and ruin the UI in the process.
But yeah, as I said, I think the GUI looks great as it is.

Thank you for your suggestion. Password security is incredibly important and something we take very seriously at Proton Technologies. We will consider add a Password Manager to our product suite roadmap.

This would be useful, but I wouldn't use if for storing my passwords (there's other solutions to that).

I'd probably say something about this if I knew more about the case. I support the position of this idea though.

Useful indeed, but I haven't got enough votes. I think this would be more useful if you could choose between several stored signatures. I found myself just deleting the signature all together because I write e-mails in different languages, for different purposes etc and therefore often have to change them. I can see this being useful for someone with a long signature, or several long signatures.

Yeah, programmable trigger passwords would be really cool. Perhaps, for technical reasons, it would have to be the account password, that would send you into an alternative mode. One mode for deleting all or certain chosen e-mails, and one mode for "safe-mode" where the e-mail UI looks identical but hides certain e-mails, contacts etc. Like another profile. Would be useful indeed.

Also, spammers would easily pay this amount anyways. They buy domains for this purpose (which is more expensive)...

You haven't thought this through.
How about companies sending out daily meeting reports? And companies sending out anouncements or order information to their customers?
Besides, this is not something ProtonMail can do, other than to implement this into their own service, which would alienate potential users and just make the spammers use another mail service...
Also, to do this you'd have to register a payment method, and that's another thing they would have to make a system for, not only to store and administrate, but to protect.

Agree with Seldon.
ProtonOS would be cool, but it's not realistic at all. Though it's not impossible to kickstart such concept. The correct way to do this would be to make a Linux distro (we already have TAILS though..).
Either way this is not relevant at all. I suggest using your votes on something more useful.

Agree. BCC should be default. One can always use CC if that's needed.

I really like this idea. Open APIs would as Ugnius B suggested, make it possible for the community to develop additional functions or programs, even to additional platforms.
It should though be thought through thoroughly, if this could compromize security. If it doesn't, then please give us open API or even open source resources.

You should also explain what this is, I doubt many do know what it is.

I'm not able to reproduce this, maybe they have changed it. The "saved to drafts" message doesn't jerk anything up here, but the message pops up. It works great that way, doesn't interfere with anything, nor move anything.
I agree with the idea, but it seems they have fixed it. The message is useful, as long as it doesn't make the window move or jiggle.

Ironically, I'd downvote this idea. But I'd agree to a seperate downvote, i.e. one vote stack for "yes" and one vote stack for "no". For several reasons, this idea would only be misleading to the statistics.
Either way, Protonmail team is not in charge of this web site, it's a service they use (look at the URL). Companies use these sites to get feedback from their users.

I don't feel that this is very relevant here, I'd send them an e-mail if I were you. I'm sure they'll respond and understand your concern. I agree though, but I also know it's not easy for them to foresee this and therefore avoid making promises they can't necessarily keep. That could backfire on them.

I agree, but I take it for granted that they will implement this. Every UI should have extensive filtering and sorting tools. I can really see how this can be useful. The search needs to be good as well, with a possibility to alter the search with prefixes and syntaxes.

For security reasons, the add-on should probably be limited to show number of new e-mails. Or?
I don't see the problem with this. I don't live in Switzerland, but I use .ch.
Besides, it's your own choice. You don't HAVE to use .ch, you can use .com if you want.
