Today i came accros with the necessity for personal security to block a sender and realized that is not possible, but it is actually possible in other email platforms. I think this is an essential future.

How about a feature where you only receive emails from other Protonmail users? Any email coming from Yahoo, Gmail, etc automatically gets deleted before reaching your inbox. Or does this exist already?

If I cant block a sender, I am not going to upgrade my service as planned and will go back to my old server.

When can I block emails? Now I have to say that I have ProtonMail for a year and have not received any spam mails at all. I use ProtonMail mainly from my private business. Never another mail provider for me.

I think having a black list to serve as a “bounce back” rejection would be great.

Having a way to bounce an email back to sender so they get the message that they've been blocked!! Having things go to our spam folder is just another folder of something I have to deal with. On occasion I do get emails I truly would like to block or bounce back to sender so they see their msg was undeliverable to me. Better yet, let us "Title" the bounce back to whatever we want to say, like "Msg undeliverable. Receiver does not take msg's from Alien maggots" Oh & include w/the free service. Most free email servers have a bounce back feature or theirs an app you can download. Can't do that w/you since the point is anonymity. PLEASE pretty please!! Looks like you've had tons of people begging for this in each category........

Oh PULEEEZ create a way for us to bounce an email back to sender w/an "undelivered" or better yet a "You've been permanently blocked from sending this person any emails" or even better let us title the bounce back to what ever we'd like it to say, like "Sorry this person does not accept emails from illiterate aliens" or something!! All the other free email servers offer a way to bounce emails back accept you guys........ C'mon, pretty please!! Having these emails just go to our spam folders doesn't make them stop. We need something that shows them we are not accepting or getting their messages.

I agree. I've been receiving the same spam message for over 6 months and it's annoying as Hell.

Would love this plus a "bounce" feature. Blocking spammers doesn't get your address off their list but sending a hard bounce does.
