Calendar location maps integration (e.g. Open Street Maps)
Being able to choose the location field from a map provider, such as OSM, and make the location field link to map provider website / mobile app.

The lack of this feature prevents me from moving my business calendar to proton. Also I can not get my family to migrate the shared calendar here for the same reason.

The ability to choose a location field from a map provider like OpenStreetMap (OSM) and have that field automatically link to the provider’s website or mobile app would be a valuable enhancement—especially for platforms like LTO Tracker (https://ltotracker.org/), where accurate and accessible location data is essential. By integrating a map-based location selector, users could pinpoint exact coordinates visually rather than typing in addresses manually, reducing errors and improving data consistency.

Bumpedibump. This is a fairly important integration feature in any calendar app.

If it cannot open a maps app, at least open the location in a browser tab. The cursor appears to be actionable over the icon, yet it does nothing.

Well, it's been 6 years. I guess they can't or won't do it.

I need this. When I go to a meeting scheduled in the Proton Calendar, I need directions to the location.

This would be great, I use this a lot now and will miss it if I would switch to Proton Calendar. Not a dealbreaker for me, but definitely would help making life easier.

Essential for a calendar.

Similarly, it’s a key feature I miss.

Without these feature a migration to Proton Mail and Calendar is not possible and is a real show stopper.

I add events in my phone and also the location so I can easily select the destination when I start traveling by car. The workaround to copy the location name into the browser or maps to get directions is very cumbersome. This would solve that problem a lot.

Please please add this feature otherwise I won't be able to pursue my journey with Proton unfortunately...

It would be nifty to have the proton calendar app marking event locations into organic maps.

Same here, it's make hard to use a calendar software to improve performance when you have to open two apps to get the location of a meeting.
Also I feel being forced to use Google maps when I want to avoid sharing my information to third companies.
I tried to use OpenStreetMap but they don't make easy to copy the location on their interface.

This is a really important feature that pretty much only proton calendar is lacking. It's stopping me from going all in with proton calendar and NEEDS to be integrated.

Just switched from Google calendar and this is a big gap. Not a killer, but please add this function.

Yep, immediately saw this as a key missing feature that I've used regularly in Google Calendar for many years. It is the primary thing lacking from Proton Calendar in my opinion

Many times I have info with addresses in my calendar and its a copy paste back and forth to get it into maps. Should be an easy feature in put in place.
