Contacts List window
The Contact list used to open up in a large window when I clicked on it. Now, it is a small window within the e-mail window. When I go in to edit a contact, once I have updated it and saved the updated information, I am kicked out of the Contacts list. I have to open the window again and start scrolling down the list to get back to where I was when editing / updating / deleting contacts. Please fix it so that the list opens in its own full screen window.

This crucial missing feature keeps me from becoming a paid subscriber. For all the other great features, my Contacts information is probably the most important feature of any email and calendar program.
I would like to be able to oversee all my contacts on a full page view, select and make changes much more easily than having to scroll down an endless single column list. -

A separate window for contacts... Yes, please!! This is excruciatingly difficult to use as currently implemented. Practically useless.

That is absolutely the most illogical way to configure contacts list. At least enable "pg dn" or arrow navigation.

It'd be great if we could access contacts.proton.com and have it be a fully fledged app available from the Proton App menu, in addition to the mini contacts and calendar apps within mail.

Yep, I've just transferred from Fastmail and the Contacts list feels cramped. In Fastmail, they had the same pop-out side-panel for Contacts, but had a button at the bottom to Open in New Tab. It would be ideal to do the same: keep the side-panel but have an option for a pop-out tab.

I agree, it was more intuitive and comfortable at the beginning. I need a Contacts page as Google.

I can't even find the side window that used to appear! The ONLY contact I can find is if I goto New Message and type a name or portion of a name . That's it. No list at all

I wouldn't want to get rid of the side panel for contact lists within the email window but there definitely should be a separate window for contacts as well, just like there is for calendar and drive. This would make it easier to organize / manage contacts.
