Create Calendar Event from Mail, Reply with meeting
For mail and calendar integration.
Would like to have the ability to take an email to a calendar event. (there is a request to make it a "task" - maybe its same thing).
This should also allow a reply to an email with a calendar event (meeting).

Looks like the first one is a separate comment with lots of votes, in case you want to +1 that one.

This is a very important feature for me, too. I was surprised to see it missing after switching from Gmail!

This is a critical add for me, Google Calendar, iOS, etc have had this feature for at least 5 years, if not longer. When I sign up for a webinar, get a doctors visit email confirmation, etc. I shouldn't need to re-create that even in Proton, on click add to calendar is essential.

I agree and I support Russell's suggestion of a link to the original email. That would be especially handy when I get tickets sent to my inbox, I could then create the event from the message and when the calendar notification pops up at the start of the event, I can just click on it, then on the email link and display the tickets right away without having to search for anything.

when a calendar event is created from an email, automatically quote the email (or perhaps link to the original email/thread) in the event description.

I'm trying to get some momentum for this feature. If you think this is covered by or included in [https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-protonmail/suggestions/43812390-integrate-email-to-calendar-via-tasks], please give your votes to that idea!

Right now on the 'actions" drop-down you can print or export. It would be hel[pful to add another option "create calendar event" and the email content would be in the body of the calendar item.
