Block Sender in bulk and by domain
The "block messages from this sender" option is great. Please add an option beneath to "block messages from this domain" because future messages from the domain still require blocking. This would save lots of time compared to the Filters page in settings.

or let us block all mail coming from subdomains of a domain we know to be a spam generator. Not much point to block subdomain1.spamfest.com, when they just email you next time from subdomain2.spamfest.com and there's literally no way to block them. Come on Proton, you can do better!

I would also like to be able to block top level domains, as it seems some are frequently used for spam from different domains. For example, I have only received spam from the .xyz TLD, so would like to block it.

When you right-click on a sender's address, it gives you the option to "block sender", but it would also be nice to have the option to "block that sender's domain". This option could block an entire domain at once, since they often use different addresses but always from the same domain.

This would be a magic bullet for SPAM, and is likely easy for your engineers! Right click and "block domain" would be great. Thanks! A.

Conveniently selecting "block domain" as easily as "block sender" would be fabulous as would the suggestions to add wildcards such as as the mail chimp problem mentioned by Padriac below

yes, Domain Blocking is very important as many spammers using thousands of bogus email addresses from the same Domain, such as duoaichi.com, as one example. We are waiting for this option, dear team!

This would be great, companies like mail chimp are adding random sections to their spamming address to subvert this so it would be great to be able to set up a blocking filter.
e.g., this morning I got **** from carolsstocks@114857086.mailchimpapp.com if I could set a rule block: *@*mailchimp*.* where "*" covers any variation, it will save me blocking another variation every month. -

Add an option to "block messages from this domain" next to the existing "block messages from this sender".
If I'm blocking 1 user at a domain, I'm usually wanting to block everyone at that domain.

When viewing an e-mail then clicking on senders address, a menu currently appears with the option to <Block messages from this sender>.
Could we please have a second option: <Block all messages from this domain>?
Would be a real time-saver, even though this can be achieved on a computer by filtering.

This is extremely important feature to better organize any mail app as we do know some company just sends you tons of email from different emails. Spam puts specific email address in spam folder but there is no option if someone like to block organization's domain which can go a long way to better equip users to deal with spams

I block domains fairly frequently, and the current workflow for doing this via the web interface is tedious. I have to copy the email address (two clicks), go the filter page (three clicks), add-> block (two clicks), click domain, paste the email, delete everything except the domain, click add domain.
Proton lets a fair amount of obvious spam through its global filters, so I'm doing this with some frequency. If I could block the domain from a context menu on the email I'd be a happy camper.

Block Senders works great and is one of the main reasons I moved to Proton Mail. HOWEVER, now the spam comes from multiple email addresses within the same domain.
One way to fix this is to offer to block the domain if more than one (or two or three) senders from the same domain are blocked. This will make it more efficient as I'm sure my Block Sender table has LOTS of domain duplicates!

Being able to right-click and block an address is nice, but so often what I want to block are the domains that these addresses come from (spam). It would be great to be able to right-click and block the domain for messages. Otherwise, there are many steps to do that. Thanks.

This is definitely something we could use asap.
I did post a request for a bulk option for blocking senders. So, maybe this could be added to it as well.
Here is the idea I'm referencing:

The "Block Senders - Bulk Feature" would enable users to efficiently block multiple email senders at once, directly from their inbox or spam folder, without the need to open individual emails.
This option would simplifies the management of unwanted emails and helps in decluttering both the inbox and spam folder. By allowing users to handle spam more efficiently, it also ensures that opening emails, which can inadvertently send information back to the sender, is avoided. This streamlines the process of blocking spammers, making it easier for users to sift through their spam folder, enhancing their ability to quickly identify and recover legitimate emails that were mistakenly marked as spam.
This refinement in email management promises a more organized inbox and a streamlined approach to blocking unwanted senders, substantially elevating the overall user experience with email.

Hello. In December 2022 for a short period of time you had block domain. It was great! it was only accessible from the filter page but you got rid of it too quickly. Please bring it back, even if you still can only access from that one page, I need it lol.
