Allow for syncing Proton Calendar with Thunderbird, which is the client I use for PM emails on my iMac.
Proton calendar currently does not have support for 3rd party apps, such as Thunderbird. I use Thunderbird with all of my PM email addresses and do not want to have another app open it is convenient from my personal and freelance work emails to be all in one place.

I agree 100%. Proton is fantastic and I'm using it all: Mail, Pass, Drive, VPN, Authenticator, Docs, and even Wallet. Unfortunately, Mail is the weak link in the Proton ecosystem - its useability and feature set aren't even close to what's needed to make Mail a viable replacement for Thunderbird or Outlook. Bridge is a nice solution for email but why leave Calendar behind?

+1 for this complaine. On Fedora i am oblige to switch between firefox and thunderbird to manage my calendar. And on ios same thing between the proton calendar and ios calendar.... Try to find a convenience way to help your paid customer to enjoy their security

Proton is a great service. But their implementation is seriously lacking. As a privacy focused company. I applaud you. But you have to meet your customers where they already are. We choose your services to get away from the privacy intrusive services of Google, Microsoft, and Apple. The fact that you haven't fully embraced meeting your customers with what they already use (Thunderbird) is just poor business. I also would like to see better implementation and support for Linux users. We use Linux for the privacy. But the VPN app operates like an after thought, and we still don't have any Drive support, except through hack third party tools. I would love to sign into my drive account through my desktop environment. Please show more love and support to the products you have and how people want to use them.

Yes, I also use Thunderbird extensively on all my computers (Windows & Linux) and I find it important for me to be able to sync Proton Calendar with Thunderbird. I am currently using Proton Bridge to sync my Proton Mail along my other emails from Microsoft and iCloud.

I couldn't believe that this is not implemented yet. I also use thunderbird and would like to get Calender in one application. This is imo very critical. I was thinking to change from my own nextcloud cloud over to proton, but this simple and little difference make me rethink about it and I will wait befor I change calender to proton. Hoppe this will come very soon.

I agree. I use em client and have to have the Proton desktop client running also. But Proton mail also runs and I get 2 notifications for every email. You can already use Proton Bridge to add Proton mail to 3rd party clients, please add calendar to it.

As a Thunderbird user (and currently editing my Google calendar from Thunderbird) I'd say this would be a welcome feature.
