Please add full desktop access to Proton Drive Photos in the Windows app.
Right now, photos that were backed up or imported into Proton Drive Photos are not available in a practical way from Windows File Explorer. On desktop, I should be able to browse my photo library, open an image directly in a local editor like Paint.NET, Photoshop, or any other Windows app, make changes, hit Save, and have that file sync right back to Proton Drive without extra downloading, re-uploading, or moving files around.
What I’m asking for is simple:
Let Proton Drive Photos appear in the Windows app as a normal accessible photo library or folder structure
Allow photos to be opened directly from desktop apps
Allow edits to be saved back to Proton automatically
Keep the photo library and desktop file access in sync so Photos and Drive do not feel like two separate worldsRight now, Photos on Windows feels import-only instead of truly usable. For people who manage and edit photos on a PC, this creates unnecessary friction and makes the desktop experience feel incomplete.
The ideal experience is:
Open Proton Drive on Windows → open a photo → edit in Paint.NET or another app → save → done.No manual download first. No copy to another folder first. No workaround nonsense.
This would make Proton Drive much more practical for Windows users who want to actually work with their photos, not just store them.

Yes!!! We Need this. I'm not sure what the person below is talking about, but I don't use samsung, I use OnePlus and my calendar events with location details in Google calendar will display in Android auto; allowing me to tap it on the screen and start navigation (with either Google Maps or Waze). I don't even care of it works with Google Maps or Waze, as long as it works with one of them.
