Not being able to use tabs within an email message is a real embarrassment and inconvenience. Coworkers often send me tab-delimited text but the tabs are removed in Proton Mail. I know the excuse - that tab is commonly used to move focus to the next field but this is oldschool and nearly obsolete. Not being able to insert tabs in my own messages and having tabs removed from received messages is amateur hour.

Standard and obvious feature. Lots of great things about Proton... and then there are these inexplicable omissions of very basic functionalities.

New Proton mail user and astounded this is not a basic functionality. Ouch! Can only echo many comments already posted about how important it is to be able to have multiple emails open simultaneously. A very basic feature that begs the question: do the designers of pm actually use their own product??

I agree 100%. Proton is fantastic and I'm using it all: Mail, Pass, Drive, VPN, Authenticator, Docs, and even Wallet. Unfortunately, Mail is the weak link in the Proton ecosystem - its useability and feature set aren't even close to what's needed to make Mail a viable replacement for Thunderbird or Outlook. Bridge is a nice solution for email but why leave Calendar behind?
