Proton Sheet - Automatic Average/Count/Sum
Proton sheet lacks an ease-of-life feature that Excel has.
Excel calculates and displays AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM, at the bottom right of the program, when you select multiple cells containing numbers.
This helps tremendously as the user doesn't have to type the formulas to get them, it is instantaneous.
Hence, following user story :
As a proton sheet user, I want AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM to be automatically calculated and displayed when I select cells containing numbers, in order not to have to set these formulas myself.
Thanks !

I strongly support this feature request for Proton Sheet. Automatically showing AVERAGE, COUNT, and SUM when users select multiple numeric cells would be a simple but valuable quality-of-life improvement, similar to Excel, saving time and avoiding unnecessary formulas for quick calculations. It would also make Proton Sheet more convenient for everyday spreadsheet tasks and quick data analysis; for example, users who frequently work with dates and numbers may also find tools such as the next birthday countdown https://alarabictools.com/next-birthday-countdown/ useful for quick calculations.

An ovulation calculator https://bmicalculatornhs.co.uk/ovulation-calculator-nhs.html helps you estimate the days each month when you're most likely to conceive by analyzing your menstrual cycle length, period start date, and average luteal phase. Most calculators work by counting back from your next expected period — typically 12 to 16 days, with 14 being average — to pinpoint ovulation day, then flagging the five days before ovulation plus ovulation day itself as your fertile window, since ***** can survive in the reproductive tract for several days while the egg remains viable for roughly 24 hours after release. For those with irregular cycles, tracking basal body temperature, cervical mucus changes, or using ovulation predictor kits alongside the calculator can improve accuracy, since a single average-based estimate may miss shifts caused by stress, illness, or hormonal fluctuations.

No brainer. Must admit that playing around a bit with Proton Sheets really makes you appreciate the basic and advanced functionalities of Excel.

Great idea 👍 This would make spreadsheets much more user-friendly, especially for quick data analysis.
I often work with calculations like averages, percentages, and totals, and having automatic AVERAGE/COUNT/SUM would save a lot of time.
For users who just want quick math tools, I also built a simple online average calculator that helps with fast calculations:
https://kalkulatorsrednich.pl/This kind of feature would really improve productivity in Proton Sheets.

This is definitely what I'm missing too and I didn't even know I used it so much in Excel untill I noticed it's missing in Sheets from Proton. Unfortunately Sheets doesn't have this and I wish it will get it in the near future.
