I don't want to have to remember to delete all the trash from trash, that is just silly. An auto-delete feature would solve my problem. Thank you!

Please enable ability to delete all trash and/or spam all at once. 50 at a time does not work for me.

Come on guys -- this is a no-brainer core feature

I find that ProtonMail has never deleted my emails in the trash since 2017 so I have to do it manually, 50 emails at a time. It was while searching for this elementary feature that I came across this page and I'm stunned to see that everyone has been waiting for this for years.

Why ask for ideas to improve the product if, after ignoring a basic feature request like this one over the last seven years, nothing happens?

Please find a way to implement this feature. The automatic delete after 30 days is a staple of so many other email programs.

This should really be part of the core feature set for a system that limits the amount of space in an email account.

I don't understand why we have to delete the trash folder manually? No option to auto delete after certain amount of days? Please implement this basic feature. The trash folder is taking up all of my space.

Also, the ability to auto-delete all folders would be greatly appreciated.
Or even better, the ability to - in all folders - autotransfer to the trash folder past a x amount of days.

Would begreat: currently I have to delete every 50 mails in the trash folder. With more than 3000 mails in the folder it is an awfull lot of work

This is such a basic and useful features just to make it easier to organise our accounts. It could work as an optional feature. Please, really consider implementing this functionality.

I keep using free plan until this feature is available. This is security issue.
