Notification settings per label
It would be great to be able to adjust notification settings for each label individually, i.e. for some labels I want to be notified but for others not.
This is incredibly useful for people who happen to have a large amount of labels with some of them being critical but others not.

Option to have the week start on Sunday
People who work shift work, like I do, often have weekly schedules that start on sunday. Adding the option to have the week start on Sunday instead of forcing monday would benefit folks like me. It's currently not possible to have biweekly recurring events that are accurate to my shift schedule in Proton calendar because of this without making biweekly repeating events for each of my workdays.
Thanks!

A PLUS+ next to the date on calendar to add new event.
When viewing the Calendar in month mode, I find that a there a number of appts on the day, which is not always visible, but adding another evening to the day on "month view" leaves little space with the cursor to add an event at the bottome of day.
I know that i can just go into day mode and add it, but for me personally having a PLUS + next to the number (day) would be faster and more efficient. Also if you were able to add your location and have the weather temp/sun or rain etc on the…

At least a colour code for different emails in inbox
I actually don’t mind having all emails coming into the same inbox, but would beed to know/see where they are coming from easily as the email they arrived to can make a big difference.
Like for the calendar have a colour code for inboxes which shows, as a label, dot or smtg similar (not the full line or it would become unreadable to the eye).Bonus: keep the colour coding as default for calendar events.

Local AI Mail Assistant powered by NPU or GPU
I’d like to suggest adding a local‑device AI feature to your PC email client that uses NPU/GPU to help manage the inbox more intelligently. It could classify messages, suggest folders and summarize repetitive emails (e.g., from Amazon or AliExpress). It would be very useful for identifying important emails such as deadlines, payments/receivables, bank, university or security alerts, all processed locally for privacy. Small 1B–3B models are enough, and there are many text‑classification models on Hugging Face: https://huggingface.co/models?pipeline_tag=text-classification. Thank you for your work; I’ve been using your product for a week and I’m really enjoying it.

View recipient and one-click disable alias from main inbox view
When screening phishing emails, clicking through to detail view of an email often is too risky, even with remote content disabled. For incoming mail, would be nice to see recipient email on hover in the main inbox view (for tracing), and if the recipient email is an alias, have the option to disable that alias with one click directly in the inbox.

Expanded color selection
Being able to assign a calendar's color with an HTML color picker would be extremely beneficial.

Feature Request: HTTP/SOCKS Proxy Support in ProtonMail Bridge
Dear ProtonMail Bridge Team,
I would like to submit a feature request regarding ProtonMail Bridge. In some network environments, internet access requires the use of an HTTP or SOCKS proxy in order to connect to external services. Currently, ProtonMail Bridge does not appear to support configuring a proxy, which means it cannot connect to the service in such environments. When I follow the normal startup process and try to sign in to my account, the application fails to connect due to the network restrictions. It would be very helpful if ProtonMail Bridge could support HTTP or SOCKS proxy configuration. Ideally,…

Show email threads as (expandable) stacks / more details in the list to the left
Unclear if that feature has been asked for before, the search for "stacked" was negative so far "group" not exactly what I would be suggesting.
Using the Proton client coming from Apple mail my colleagues and I struggle with (unfortunately often) large email threads with clients. We are used to be able to see grouped emails as expandable stacks being able to go directly to an email in within the stack from the overview list. Sorted from current to oldest top-down.
Currently in proton in the (left side) list it only shows the number of emails grouped together, making it…

Optional warning before sending unencrypted replies in encrypted threads
Currently, when a Proton Mail user sends a password-protected encrypted message to a non-Proton recipient via a secure link, the recipient can reply securely via the encrypted message portal. However, if the Proton user then replies using the normal “Reply” function, the response is sent unencrypted by default — even though the conversation previously contained encrypted messages.
This creates a significant risk of accidental data exposure, as both the reply and the entire email history may be sent unencrypted without the user realizing it.
I understand this is a deliberate design decision, but I strongly believe there should be an…

LA CRM - Mailbridge Failure
Hi Proton Team,
This is a niche issue, but I utilize a tool called Less Annoying CRM (LACRM), which allows permits email logging required for my industry. On their help site (https://www.lessannoyingcrm.com/help/finding-imap-information-for-email-syncing), they specifically call out proton mail for being unable to sync with their tools:
"ProtonMail: their end-to-end encryption prevents a normal IMAP sync. ProtonMail’s “Bridge” tool does not solve this, so automatic email logging will not work."
Is there the possibility that the bridge tool could permit a normal IMAP sync without compromising the security of the tool?

Add support for ntfy push notifications
We should not have to use google play services to get notifications. Luckily there is ntfy.sh which is an open source alternative. Apps like Element already support it.

Email all participants
Like in Outlook, add an "Email all participants" Button to events.
Should open a Mail, like a reply all to the event. This is helpful for where I want to tell others, e.g.:
* "Sorry, I will be late"
* "Here are more details about the event"11 votes
