Make it possible to use both simultaneously on desktop
It is absurd that you cant see the calendar and the mail at the same time. Means you have to open one or the other in the browser so the app is superfluous!!

If a user is using the Proton Mail PWA app on a mobile device, there is no need to show them ads for the Proton Mail mobile app
Currently, this ad is shown to the user, which is absurd, since they are already using the mobile app of this service.

proton.me addresses are sometimes not recognized as a valid address
I am not sure if there is a solution to this issue. Some retailers and businesses do not recognize proton.me as a valid email address, and I am forced to use a Gmail address.

Maintain checkbox selection, even when clicking into an email
I'm often going through emails to decide which I can delete. I'll have several emails already selected. If I click into one of the emails and then back out, all of my selections are gone. This has happened many times and is very frustrating.

Offline access for desktop apps
Allow the desktop app to download a copy of the email to read and work offline (read any and all inbox email, delete, write and send emails), which will be queued for syncing whenever online. Same for calendar events.

CRM
Hi Proton team, I believe a Proton CRM app directly integrated with Proton Mail would be a game-changer for the Business Plan. Many companies like ours need a secure way to manage clients, track communications, and organize workflows without relying on external tools that compromise data privacy. A Proton-native CRM thats built with the same end-to-end encryption and user experience as the rest of your suite. It would position Proton as a complete, privacy-first workspace for professional users. It’s the missing link that could make Proton the top choice for secure business operations worldwide.

One‑tap prefilled event templates
Proton Calendar should allow users to save prefilled event templates and apply them with a single tap or click. Each template could store details like title, color, calendar, default start time or all-day setting, reminders, busy/free status, recurrence, location, and notes.
This would make it possible to instantly add common events (like “Workday,” “Day Off,” “Study Session,” etc.) without re-entering the same information over and over again.
It fits perfectly with Proton’s privacy-first model, since templates are just metadata that can be stored end-to-end encrypted.
This small addition would dramatically speed up event creation, reduce friction, and make weekly planning…

Allow moving sent email to inbox
The same as Gmail allows, I want to be able move a sent email to my inbox after sending. This is a highly common activity if you want to check in a few days that someone has responded to your email and not forget about it. It's not possible currently without the suggested features. There is currently a 'mark as unread' feature, but that doesn't put the email in your inbox, so you'll never check it again.

Customize Proton web mail client toolbar
Currently in the toolbar you can; mark unread, trash, move, label, and filter.
With an additional click you can; archive, move to spam, print, etc.
It would be nice to be able to customize that toolbar and maybe even add more icons, there is plenty of blank space in the bar to add several more icons.

make new features for Proton
Well, I’ve been trying to figure out if my screen has any weird color issues, but all the tools I find seem sketchy or require downloads. Do you happen to know something safe and easy to use? Can you add new feature in Proton - i think it's good idea!

iOS API integration
It would be very helpful if Proton Calendar supported easy event imports from other apps on iOS. Since I travel frequently by train, it would be great to automatically add trips to my calendar using the iOS share sheet in train planning apps like ÖBB Scotty.

Remove Max Delay Limit for Scheduled Emails
The schedule send function is currently limited to a maximum of 90 days later. I understand the use cases for sending an email futher into the future is incredibly niche but I don't see any reason why there has to be an artificial limit to this.
I would like to send an email to myself at least a year into the future.
Can we just remove the cap like Gmail does?

Paid Mail plan in Mini version
Sorry, but I don't want to pay 3.29/4.09 for email for features I don't need. There are many cheaper options on the market. I'd prefer to show support for Proton in a paid plan with minimal features, like your own domain, for an even lower price of 1 or 2 coins. It's better than the free version.

Recent Visual Changes to UI
As part of the newest update to the app for my Android device, the very first thing I noticed was the spacing. Why is this a regular issue with updates, where everything needs to be spaced out more? The issue is that users can read or see more on the screen without these changes, but once implemented we are not left with any option to compress the new or switch back to the older visualization styles. When a user is used to a specific look, and that drastically changes with the addition of inconvenient scrolling to do something that did…

Disable Archive, Delete is Delete
Deleted mail now ends up in Archive which means additional effort to delete it again, Archive should be a Users choice and frankly should be considered like any other user defined folder. It's simple a place to put an email that you don't want to delete and frankly the user should create rules for what goes into folders. In a nut shell, I don't agree with the whole concept of a Mail app managing the users mail, the User should be the one controlling what happens with the mail. Anything beyond that should be a option the user must enable…
