Confusing icons in Proton Mail on web
When I open an email, I see two toolbars. For example, the icon for deleting an email is in both the top toolbar and the toolbar next to the email. But the icon for archiving is only in the top toolbar. Similarly, the icon for snoozing an email is in the top toolbar, but it's missing from the bottom toolbar. And there are many icons that appear in both toolbars. I don't understand why this is the case. If there is a purpose to it, I really don't understand it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It would…

I-phone Protonmail app - improvement with backward steps?
One of the improvements made is the ability to enlarge a pic or text without the email jumping back to the beginning.
The negatives are : 1. When enlargeing an image or text, you can't swipe left to see the rest of the item. 2. Swiping left to the next email is no longer possible. 3. The old app dropped you into the next email when deleting an opened email. No longer the case. The app developers made one step forward and three backward! What gives?3 votes -
Increase filter / rule limit to 200
Change filter / rule limit from 100 to 200. Will help organize inboxes, apply labels, move messages to folders, etc. Using rules for multiple scenarios eventually becomes impractical to manage.

Change the delete swipe in Mail back to a simple left swipe
The new version of the Mail app now requires a rather long single left swipe or a short left swipe plus a tap to delete a mail. This is really inconvenient and slows down email reviews/processing. For better or for worse, deleting is what we do most. This function should be as simple as possible - just a single short left swipe, just like it was previously. Please change it back.

Delegate Mail and Calendar viewer/editor accesses to a user(s) within your proton org.
Thank you for reading this. If you guys want Financial, Legal and Medical service providers (notably) to embrace Proton, I strongly recommend you implement this request.
A key missing feature is the ability to assign accesses to a user's inbox or calendar to another user (to avoid sharing credentials). In some regulated industry, this is necessary to properly execute compliance functions.
Three delegation profiles would be necessary for this feature to be effective:
Temporary: the ability for a user to delegate inbox/calendar accesses to another user for a specific amount of time (Holiday, Maternity, Illness),
Enhanced: the ability for a…

Implement push IMAP (instant email notification)
The fetch way of retrieving emails is ancient compared to modern communication methods alternatives. Google, Yahoo! and others are using their own protocol but Push IMAP exists (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push-IMAP).
Imagine you are a new user switching from Google to Proton, you are used to instant notifications on emails arrivals, useful for magic codes for example, it’s a huge downgrade coming to Proton Mail.

Show full folder path in “Move message to…” search results
Problem:
When I move an email and type into Move message to…, results only show the leaf folder name. I have parallel structures for different children, e.g.Children/KidOne/SchoolOne
Children/KidTwo/SchoolOne
Both show up as “SchoolOne”, so I can’t tell which is which.Request:
Display the full folder path (or at least parent folders) in the move dialog’s search results—for example:Children / KidOne / SchoolOne
Children / KidTwo / SchoolOne
Nice-to-haves:
Show the full path as a secondary line or breadcrumb.
Tooltip with the complete path on hover.
Keyboard navigation should read the full path for accessibility.
Option to toggle “Show…

period tracker
Proton could make a period tracker. Either as an app or as a calendar feature. Privacy over this type of data is needed right now especially since some parts of the world have strict laws against abortion. And tech data is used against women in pregnancy outcome cases.

Allow undoing all past actions.
My cat sat atop my keyboard. My mail was directed every which way. I need to know exactly what actions were performed so that they can be undone.

Add filter condition 'Inbox' or otherwise fix filtering when using a hide-my-email alias
In Proton Pass I am using a hide-my-email alias, e.g. 'shop.alias123@passmail.net', which forwards mails to one of my Proton Mail inboxes / email address aliases, e.g. 'my.shopping@proton.me'.
As a result, the mail header looks like this:
From 'noreply@shop.com'
To 'shop.alias123@passmail.net'Now, I would like to set up a filter which moves all mails received via 'my.shopping@proton.me' to a folder 'Shopping'.
However, as neither the sender ('From') nor the recipient ('To') contains said inbox address, this is not possible. My only option is to include all the hide-my-email aliases in the…

See via which inbox a mail was received when it was forwarded by an alias
Consider the following:
In Proton Mail I have two mail addresses -- 'firstname.lastname@proton.me' & 'online.shopping@proton.me'
In Proton Pass I am using a hide-my-email alias 'shop.alias123@passmail.net' which forwards mails to the latter inbox.
Currently, in Proton Mail the mail header looks like this:
From 'noreply@shop.com'
To 'shop.alias123@passmail.net'Suggested change:
From 'noreply@shop.com'
Via 'shop.alias123@passmail.net'
To 'online.shopping@proton.me'3 votes -
Add Email Re-edit Button
Add a button on every email that allows re-editing of already sent or received emails.
This way, for example, you can easily send a second email similar to an already sent one without having to copy and paste all the content into a new email again.

Group newsletters
The new newsletters is great! One thing I'd wish would be possible is to combine multiple newsletters.
E.g. I receive newsletters fro Github for each repository separately ("Github jgm/pandoc", "Github prusa3d/prusaslicer", etc.). Here it would be amazing to have the ability to combine these into a single newsletter group.

Limited View for Share with Proton users calendar sharing
When using the "Share with Proton users" aspect of shared calendars you cannot choose limited view, only full details or edit permissions. Currently Limited view is only available if you use the Share with anyone and create a link. This seems like an easy change, I want to be able to share my calendar without a link (that could be leaked), but also not have to burden the one person I wish to share it with with the curse of knowledge (the minutiae of my every movement.)

Preserve Reverse Alias When Forwarding Your Own Sent Messages
When an email is sent via a reverse alias, forwarding that same message (e.g., to add a missed recipient) reveals the sender’s real Proton Mail address instead of the alias. Users must manually edit the forwarded message to hide their real address, which is easy to forget and defeats the privacy purpose of reverse aliases.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a reverse alias (e.g., alias@protonmail.com).
- Compose and send an email to Recipient A using that alias.
- Realize you omitted Recipient B and click Forward on the sent message.
- In the compose window, add Recipient B and send.
- The forwarded email’s From/Reply‑To header now shows…
