Choose which calendars to show in the widget
We need to be able to customise the Calendar Widget to select which calendars we want to be shown (enabled), and which we want to be hidden (disabled), separately to what is shown when opening the app.
For example, I have a Work Team calendar and a Family calendar that I want to see when I open the app, but I don't want them shown in the widget.

Default font & text size for incoming mail
There is the option to have a default font & size for outgoing mail, but it would be nice to also have the option for all incoming mail as well.
In Thunderbird, a user is given the option to override the sender's default font & font size, which is to the benefit of the receiver, to create a better uniformity across all incoming mails from all senders.

use artificial intelligence to add calendar events
AI-Driven Calendar Management via Text Prompt
This feature allows you to manage your calendar using simple English commands via text prompt. Type in commands to:
- Add Events: "Add meeting with John on Friday at 2 PM"
- Update Events: "Reschedule meeting with John to 3 PM on Friday"
- Remove Events: "Cancel meeting with John on Friday"
- Change Time: "Move my team meeting to 10 AM tomorrow"
- Add Attendees: "Add Sarah and Mike to the meeting on Friday at 2 PM"
The AI-powered system understands natural language and executes the commands, keeping your calendar up-to-date and organized.

Privacy-Preserving Notifications/Generic Notification Mode
Recently, reports involving Signal highlighted that operating system notification databases may retain sensitive information from message notifications, even after the original messages are deleted. While this example involved Signal and iOS, the same general risk may apply to other apps and operating systems where notification content is stored or indexed outside the app.
For privacy-focused users, Proton Mail and other Proton products should offer an option to use generic notification text instead of exposing message content in system notifications.
For example, instead of showing sender names, subject lines, or message previews, the notification could simply say:
“New Proton Mail message…

LA CRM - Mailbridge Failure
Hi Proton Team,
This is a niche issue, but I utilize a tool called Less Annoying CRM (LACRM), which allows permits email logging required for my industry. On their help site (https://www.lessannoyingcrm.com/help/finding-imap-information-for-email-syncing), they specifically call out proton mail for being unable to sync with their tools:
"ProtonMail: their end-to-end encryption prevents a normal IMAP sync. ProtonMail’s “Bridge” tool does not solve this, so automatic email logging will not work."
Is there the possibility that the bridge tool could permit a normal IMAP sync without compromising the security of the tool?

Add support for ntfy push notifications
We should not have to use google play services to get notifications. Luckily there is ntfy.sh which is an open source alternative. Apps like Element already support it.

Email all participants
Like in Outlook, add an "Email all participants" Button to events.
Should open a Mail, like a reply all to the event. This is helpful for where I want to tell others, e.g.:
* "Sorry, I will be late"
* "Here are more details about the event"11 votes -
Remove notification after event ends
In Google Calendar, on Android at least, event notifications automatically disappear after an event ends. It would be nice if Proton Calendar did the same, to help keep the system notification tray tidier.

(Current) Critical Security Vulnerability: Missing Default-Deny Policy - Why Whitelists Fail Against Zero-Click Exploits (State Trojans)
(Current Text) April 26, 2026
Dear Proton Team,Currently, Proton Mail under (Filters) "Blocked and Allowed Senders Lists" offers only a whitelist as a positive exception in a system that standardly accepts everything ("Default-Allow"). The "Allow" function serves merely to move important emails back from the Spam folder to the Inbox; it does not prevent the receipt of emails from other domains. The "Block" function serves only to block known, malicious senders.
The fundamental security problem is that for users who need to protect themselves against Zero-Click Exploits (e.g., advanced state trojans like Pegasus or similar spyware), this "Default-Allow" model…

Improve email masking in Daily Notifications (Show first and last characters)
Currently, Daily Email Notifications only show the first two characters of the recipient address. This makes it difficult to distinguish between similar aliases or folders (e.g.,
support@...vssuper@...).I suggest updating the masking logic to show both the beginning and the end of the local part of the email address.
* Current:su********@proton.me
* Proposed:su****rt@proton.meors******t@proton.meThis provides better clarity while maintaining the privacy of the full address.

Creation of a Public Spam Address List
I suggest creating a public list of known spam addresses. This list could be initially curated by Proton Mail and then maintained and continuously updated by the community (for example, via GitHub).
Additionally, it would be highly beneficial to add, in this section (https://account.proton.me/u/78/mail/filters#spam) within each user account’s spam filter settings, a feature that allows users to upload one or more precompiled lists of spam addresses (e.g., in .txt, .md, .csv, .json, or similar formats). This would enable users to manage their own personalized lists and import them all at once, rather than having to mark addresses individually.

Strike agenda items
When deleting an event in the Proton Calendar, I still want to be reminded that it was there originally. Is it possible to offer two kinds of delete:
(A) strike through the event (so it is still visible in the calendar, but now the title is in strike through), or
(B) permanently delete the event?2 votes -
Calendar Weekly View: Select hours for better visibility
add an option to "zoom in" on specific hours, or alternatively add selection tool for a "work day". For instance, I don't need to constantly see the hours of 10pm to 7am, as I never schedule events then. But currently in the weekly view they're always visible, pushing the existing events further down on the screen. Thanks!

Broader timezone-compatability in Calendar
I routinely get calendar-invites that can't get imported into Proton Calendar because of some error in the timezone-encoding.
To import it i have to save the .ics-file, open it in Outlook and then manually enter it into Proton..7 votes -
Self-destruct multiple emails
Currently, the self-destruct option can only be selected for each email individually. It would be really useful to be able to select multiple emails and choose a self-destruct time for all of them.

Sending E2EE emails to non-Proton users without the manual password/key hassle
I’ve been a very happy user and I’m incredibly grateful for what the Proton team has built. Proton is easily the best at privacy when both sides are on the platform, but recently I’ve been sending a lot of sensitive documents—IDs, bank docs, and contracts—to government officials. It’s made me realize that while Proton is great for privacy if both sides use it, it’s still a huge headache when your recipient isn’t a Proton user or a tech freak.
Right now, we have two options for non-Proton users, and both have major real-world friction. First, there’s PGP. Unless the recipient…

Simple navigation to a specific date.
At the moment you have to scroll through each month if you want to jump to a specific date in the past or future. This is very inconvenient. In many other calendars it is possible to first select the year, then the month and then the day.

UI elements for Emails - too much & too big
When opening an email - especially on mobile - UI elements are too big, to much of them and maybe they shouldn't all be there. See screenshot here - https://drive.proton.me/urls/0G7Y7D3WF0#mL6N900V24rk
"This image is from a mailing list" - I know this and usually there is a link for unsubscribe, so not needed there. Also people might feel forced every time they open an email from a list to unsubscribe.
"Some images failed to load...." - This is also not necessary. I would rather have a general settings for all emails. Maybe you could find a solution to load images to…
