  1. Formatting, enlarge the font

    It would be nice and save my eyes, to be able to enlarge the font, or the text. Easier to pre-read my emails before sending.

  2. Always load remote content for trusted senders

    Please add the ability to load remote content for trusted senders—i.e. "allow once" or "always allow for sender." This is an extremely useful feature found in many mail apps, which allows remote content to automatically load for trusted senders without having to click the "Load remote content" text.

  6. Faster syncing and displaying speed

    The speed of displaying and syncing is not very slow but a bit disappointed comparing to the other mail services I've used (Blackberry Hub, Gmail). It's just not as smoothe as it can(should?) be.

    The 'variables' extension described in RFC 5229 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5229) is key in unlocking even more of the potential of the Sieve mail filtering language.

  9. Filter mail on List-ID header

    Many mailing lists add a "List-ID" header per rfc2919, such that for mail received from a given mailing list "list@example.com", the mailing list software will add a line similar to the following to the message header:

    List-ID: My Cool Mailing List <list.example.com>

    It would be useful to be able to select this as a filter option for Labels, Folders, anywhere filters can be applied.

  10. print multiple emails

    Dear proton team,

    Please add an option in the "more" button to print multiple emails after having selected them. This would be a really simple feature to implement and it saves a lot of time.

    Once a month I have to get printouts of about 50 emails and it takes quite a bit of time print them individually.

  14. Reply with address that received message by default

    Right now when you reply to an email, it will use your default address/profile. Would like an option that makes it so reply tries to use the address/profile that received the email first, and falls back to the default if it can't resolve that.

    It appears that SPAM works perfectly except when there is a filter applied. For example, a filter by recipient matches user2@example.com then move to folder user2. It would be nice to have the system SPAM process ahead of the filter process or even the option where the filter is applied before or after system SPAM process.

  16. Open the next email automatically after deleting or moving the first one

    When I delete a message I want to go directly to the next email, instead of going to the inbox and then click the next email.
    This feature is a simple one, but when you have to read a lot of emails it saves a lot of time.
    It is available both in Gmail and Yahoo.

  17. Fingerprint Authentication for Android App

    This would be the same as Support of TouchID for iOS. I know it would work only for Android 6 and up, but it's much more comfortable than PIN [of course as an option and not replacement of PIN completely]

  18. Readability

    In the standard web interface after accounting for branding, buttons, email headers, and footers, the actual content of an email is restricted to about 3 lines. Trying to read a long email is painful. I couldn't find a way to either a. Make a dedicated model pop up for a single message for reading or b. Expand the existing read window to allow for more text to be read at once, in any view.

  19. Trash messages need to be separate from Inbox messages

    Messages sent to the Trash should not reappear in my Inbox when I receive a new email from the same chain.

    Currently, if I receive a new message from the same chain as an email I already trashed, the trashed messages reappears in my Inbox. Messages I have trashed should never reappear in my Inbox.

  20. Informing ProtonMail users about potentially unsafe messages

    Hi,

    I would like to see this feature added to ProtonMail.

    When a ProtonMail user sends email to other email service or receives email from other email service, then ProtonMail will indicate / highlight...
    a) When a received message was not encrypted (TLS)
    b) When composing a message to a recipient whose email service doesn't support TLS encryption, or when the sender’s domain couldn't be authenticated. An indicator before sending a message to a service that doesn't support TLS encryption

    This will be useful, as the user can find out if email (sent / received) is encrypted in transit when…
