Move the "Saved to Drafts" message so the composition window stops jumping up and down.
It's annoying for my whole composition window to jerk up and down every few moments. The message is helpful, but I could also live without it. Thanks!

update signup status
updates on signup status, somewhere, somehow, would be nice.
so that people would know whether they'll need to wait for 4711 years, or just a few weeks.
of course we may choose to leave peoplel hanging, if that serves the purpose of this free service better.

Send photos/images with emails
Would like to see an easy way to upload images/photos with emails. Is this already possible and I've missed the instruction? I'm only prompted to insert a URL. Sometimes a copy/paste of a photo works, other times not.

Allow the user to choose whether an e-mail is sent to the sent folder during e-mail composition.
Allow the user to choose whether an e-mail is sent to the sent folder. Some people prefer to save only certain e-mails, not all. For these users one has to find these e-mails and delete them. This becomes tedious when one could simply select not to have the e-mail saved in a Sent folder.

Default Message Password Dynamically?
For example in settings adjustable that "2 digits of sending day" or "4 digits of sending year", etc, similar like date function in PHP which is change dynamically day by day or year by year, etc.

Add option for browser login to ask five random characters from your password string.
To have the option to not use the full password at login, but random digits from it. This has the advantage that even if the entered password digits are captured from keyboard or by other means they won't be useful for another person to log in. The algorithm can reduce the variability if logins come from the same ip address or machine, so that capturing multiple login passwords from the same computer would still not reveal the full string.

You could add a very basic and necessary feature such as allowing the user to create FILTERS with VARIOUS options for deletion.
Allow me to set up filters WITH the ability choose the actions such as "delete with notification" "move to spam" "delete without notification" "move to ----- box" etc. Filters aren't enough, there has to be options for what to do with the filters.

Make encrypted mail to outside addresses more like a persistent chat while browser session is open
when sending email to addresses outside of protonmail, the recipient should be dropped into an interface that is more chat-like after entering the message password, so if there is back and forth messaging with the sender a new password doesn't need to be set each time and a new link doesn't need to be received and followed

Replace jittery spinner icon
Jittery FontAwesome spinners are a known UI bug: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/issues/671
I suggest swapping out the spinner icon with eg an icomoon spinner: http://codepen.io/Keyamoon/pen/aHxuq
Not a site-breaking bug by any means, but it might make things look just that little bit nicer.

OpenPGP mail with resend capacity (like a Nym server)
I think it is more simple to express the idea with an example. But it is kind of an old school nym server capacity.
Alice want to send a secure message to Bob. She can't connect directly to Protonmail for technical reason. Let say she is stuck with a really poor data connection. But she can receive email using an mail client (like alpine)...
How can she contact Bob if he can't use GPG because it is too complex for him.
Alice send an encrypted message to alice+resend@protonmail.ch encrypted with protonmail public key and digitally sign with alice registered openPGP…

Alerting/Warning subscriber when clicking sign-out, discard or any other "cirtical" buttons
It would be helpful if the user is "warned/alerted" when a "critical" button, like discard contacts, sign-out, etc. is clicked. First of all a loss of data is prevented. Secondly, laborious re-entry of data or sign-in again is avoided (time is saved)

Le lancement de la recherche dans les contacts devrait se faire également avec la touche ENTREE (ENTER) et pas seulement en cliquant sur la loupe. Comme dans la recherche au niveau des mails !

Show the number of new messages (if any) in the window title bar
Have the current window's title include the number of new messages, e.g. ProtonMail (2).
I run PM in a separate window and it would be helpful if I could see from the window list on the taskbar if there are new messages, rather than having to open up the mail window.
