View Message Source
View Message Source is an invaluable tool to help prevent inadvertently exposing ourselves to a well-crafted spoofed email designed to steal information. PLEASE add this functionality soon.

Missing in the Android app. Unable to view headers, as well as specifically see original recipient.

@Basho: Your reasoning appears sound with regard to the encrypted storage of said email on pm servers. While I may not quite understand the threat vector, would it not be possible to deliver said message to client, but displayed as text as opposed to parsed as html after, say, selecting the message in the inbox and then clicking on \view source?' It appears that this could mitigate any issues caused by 'opening' the email and deploying whatever crafty payload it may contain.

The message has to be decrypted in order to show the headers. In order to be decrypted it has to be sent to your client. I doubt that PM sends *all* your messages - you have to select one first. Now you've "opened" it.

A small but important change. I often review the source before opening the message itself, when the sender is unknown and I'm not sure it is spam.

I understand it is possible to view the source headers of an email in Protonmail. The issue with the current method is that one can't view said headers without opening said email. It is believed by some to be a better option to view message source headers BEFORE opening said email in order to decide whether or not to open it in the first place.
Please either change current methodology, or add view message source to the 'more' tag above the inbox view, or create its own icon (microscope?) to appear beside the other icons and the more dropdown.
PS - Thanks for a great service!

I hadn't seen the solution you noted - thank you. However, I was hoping to be able to see the headers WITHOUT opening the email. I hoped it might show up under the "More" dropdown if suspect email was selected in the inbox view. There are times one might want to see the headers before actually opening said suspect email.
