Conversation view on Android app
Having threads on desktop is great, but I mostly use email on my phone. The lack of threads in the android app makes my inbox a real mess and conversations are hard to follow.
Thanks!

Brad. Being I'm a developer for Proton., your comment was back in 2017, it's 2024 we have this issue fixed.

I absolutely hate using the Android app because it lacks this feature. Can't archive threads in one go, can't mark threads read in one go, have to hunt to find the first post of a thread... this, to me, in 2024, is not an optional feature.

I dont know what Proton is waiting for. So many people have requested this and for at least 7 years now. This is becoming rediculous

What's up with this? Why wouldn't this be an essential feature? It's ridiculous. Making me hate proton mail.

This ticket was created 5 years ago and there is still no answer. Unacceptable that iOS (iPhone and iPad) have this feature but on Android we still have to deal with a convoluted inbox and following an entire conversation (specially when certain messages of the conversation have been archived). Is iOS the only valuable platform to the company? The new coat of "fresh paint" with the redesign is welcomed but I rather have conversation view and reliable message syncing.

So this has been an issue for several years that they have not addressed i see. That is very disappointing. This is a major problem for many of us who use multiple email addresses for multiple reasons. I currently use 5-6 personal email addresses on Gmail and have replicated those on Protonmail. I want to migrate everything over and I'm happy to pay for the security but I'm less than thrilled paying for a jumbled mess that I can't make sense of. This really needs to be addressed and fixed. We need to be able to separate our various accounts so they can be used independently rather than having all email from 5-6 or more accounts piling up into a single list. I guess the folks at Protonmail really aren't interested in our feedback or suggestions since they haven't bothered to acknowledge this issue.

I totally agree.
It is impossible to follow a conversation right now on the Android App. Every email of the conversation is displayed independently.
On the other hand, there is no such problem on the web view. Having the same displaying on the phone application would be perfect!

I really need this as well, it is very confusing if you're in a conversation, and you can't even see whether you replied to someone's email without going to the "sent" screen

is there a timeline for this? people use mobile more and more and cannot understand not to have such basic feature
Thank you!

This, seriously. I love protonmail and recommend it to everyone but the lack of threading (which every major email provider has by default) is a huge deal breaker for most. Nobody wants a cluttered inbox on mobile where there's already a lack of screen space.

This is literally the only thing keeping me from trying ProtonMail in earnest.
