Sync contacts, calendars, and notes with native mobile apps
To sync with your cell phone and email - iphone calendar, contacts, and notes.

ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

We cannot stress how important this is to us. As a Protonmail and ProtonVPN paid customer, calendar support is of critical interest to us at the enterprise level. All the other options out there, are inadequate from a security perspective. Calendar support simply cannot come soon enough. Let us know when alpha testers are needed.

Overall:
Email - done
Contacts - done
VPN - done
Calendar - Hopefully soon, with compaibility to emclient/outlook and other 3rd party apps.
Basic Notes // we have standard notes, great service. I would like to see some form of collaboration between these two projects where possible.
Cloud drive // closest we have is tresorit and cryptomator for use with mainstream. Perhaps proton could charge progressively.
E.g. 100GB for $5 / 500GB for $10 / 2TB for $18.All of that in mind, some kind of package deal for the whole shabang with 2TB cloud for about $30 monthly seems a fair deal to me. Branding wise "PROTON-SUITE".

Instead of saving the Full Contact feature for Premium Users, You can allow Free Users to enjoy Full Contact Feature for limited number of Contacts, say, 100 or less or more.

I am also eagerly awaiting a Proton Calendar and perhaps notes too. When you do add calendar to the android app please include a month and decent week view. In the meantime I am using Fruux calendar service which has an android app which allows display sync with the google calendar app and also integrates with em client on windows. Ideally I would rather have a fully fledged Proton client for windows that incorporated the bridge functionality with an emclient front end.

Hi folks,
I am feeling the same frustration as a paid user not having a calendar in the native Android App and not being able to use a third party App like Outlook on Android to use the calendar feature so I can stop using Google services. It kills the purpose of paying for the service as I need calendar reminders to go to my mobile device, not a desktop.
Is there an expected release date for the native calendar or for integration with Outlook on Android?
Thanks,

As most other people here, a calander would be very much appreciated. Will become a paid member the moment it is released. Slowly moving all mail and contact to protonmail. Kids are already over ;)

definitely need a 'proton secure' full featured calendar! Like others, I run my business and my personal life on a google calendar with a few external features installed such as mail scheduling, and email reminders. As does my wife, and other family members. All of which would be necessary.
I'm pleading with you Proton-help us all escape Google!

I just finished reading Andy's blog about Yahoo mail. I'm in the same boat as others here in that I rely on the combination of email and a good multi function calendar. I'll move all of my email and online work over to Proton as soon as that calendar is available.
Would the Proton folks be able to give an estimate of a release date for a calendar?

This is a must. If you lose or change your phone, your contacts will be lost forever like in the old days.

Looking forward to a ProtonCalendar. I have shown my friends and family the ProtonMail application and would like to show them an integrated Calendar. All the best to the Proton developers. Thank you for your dedication to privacy!

I've weaned myself from google products this week, paid for protonmail so i can use my domain and email, and everythings going well on my android phone being de-googled....except i can't calendar. Looking forward to this feature soon and would pay for it even. I am self employed and rely heavily on my google calendar..now I'm using a google calendar on my phone but it doesn't sync with anything as I'm not signed in. Thanks!

ProtonMail has made Gmail unnecessary for me.
ProtonMail Contacts are now full-featured enough to replace Google Contacts.I have weaned myself from Gmail and Google contacts as a result.
Still desperately needed: ProtonMail Calendar.
When ProtonMail Calendar comes online, I will cancel my Gmail account entirely.
Still on my wish-list: ProtonMail Tasks, ProtonMail Notes. But there are third-party solutions to those problems that work well enough for now. Calendaring should be the focus going forward.

I am already a paid proton user, but do not use proton mail much, as I need an integrated calendar, so I can ditch Google entirely. A very flexible contact manager and then <Notes> would be a lovely bonus.

contacts and calendar much needed features, I am planning to become a paid user soon, since I can switch from the Gsuite with these added! In priority (for me) it is Contact sync (carddav), calendar sync (caldav) and notes. This last one is not a blocker but would like to have it as well!
