This works for me:
Settings -> Appearance -> 'Load classic theme' [so you can edit the CSS afterwards] -> in the field 'Custom theme' changebody { font-size: 14px }
body,
.pm_opensans {
font-family: 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, sans-serif
}to the values you prefer -> Save

I love that I can edit the CSS, but some basic themes to pick from would be amazing. Maybe default / white / dark / high contrast?
I changed the background of my read messages to white by adding
body #conversation-list-rows .conversation.read {
background: #fff;
}to the CSS on https://mail.protonmail.com/appearance – but it took me too much time to find out how to do that.
> Any vague-ish timeline for calendars?
From protonmail's twitter account, as @ reply an hour ago:
"Not sooner than 2019. We don't have a fixed ETA at the moment. It's a complex project, but it's under development."
