How can we improve Proton Mail?

Proton Mail MacOS app

For MacOS, for more protection, we should get a new MacOS app for ProtonMail. This is a more simple way of using ProtonMail instead of visiting the website or creating new encryption methods for existing mail apps (such as apple mail).

    Hello

    I would love to have a dedicated ProtonMail App for MAC OS !
    I know it is possible to work on the MAC with the Proton Bridge App, but it is somehow difficult and even sometimes laborious. It is actually what refrains me to switch completely to ProtonMail }
    After each update, it is necessary to change again the ports setting (à la try and error...) to Getafe thé App woking again.
    Even the Bridge is working and connected via Ports normally working, it happens quite often that I have no connection with Apple Mail.
    I need to restart the computer, make sure the Bridge is still connected, and maybe it will then work.
    Not really an Mail App that is reliable for the everyday work ! And il needs somme knowledge to make it work !
    I would really love to have an dedicated App the really works ! And if that daz really comes, I will be able to change over completely to ProtonMail !
    Any chance to see that one day ?

    Please could you consider creating a bespoke desktop app for Mac OS, a pain using browser and would much prefer a PM dedicated inbox like Thunderbird to manage emails. Your set up is more intuitive than others and would like to use it as my primary mail app available on a single click.

    Please create a macOS App. It would be highly appreciated to use it in a workflow with other iOS devices.

    "give us an App for an operation system which gets nuked on a daily basis". Nope.

    It's already hard enough to provide a good security environment while using different browers. Developing clients for specific operation systems is not only time consuming but difficult.

    Also, using the words "MacOS" and "protection" in one sentence is like saying "we need a form of ethical murder".

    Should be pretty easy to use the existing iOS model and even the existing iOS ViewControllers adapted from UIKit to AppKit for macOS.

    It would be great to have a Native app for macOS.. We have one for iOS, why not for macOS to complement the ecosystem? THANK YOU

    Would like to access my email via an .app from the Mac app store as it is frustrating not having my mail in the "mail"app as POP/IMAP is not supported. Notifications would be a great feature so that we "users" do not have to login every single time.
