Planned? When? It's planned since before COVID

Just checking in on the comment I left two years ago snarkily saying that it's 2023. Well with two years' more snark, I will kindly inform you that it is now 2025 and this feature is still "planned". I cannot count how many features you've released in the meantime, prioritizing them over this one. Makes no sense.

It's honestly quite strange — this request to sync ProtonMail contacts with the phone's address book has been around for nearly eight years, and yet Proton still hasn’t provided a proper solution or update. For a company that emphasizes privacy and usability, it's surprising that such a fundamental feature is still missing. Two-way sync between ProtonMail and native contact apps should be a basic expectation by now.

I agree with many of the other comments, it would be nice to know how the status of this feature is and for when it is planned.

They don't state when they last updated articles, but let's hope this feature soon finally is implemented... The roadmap for this year didn't mention it tho

Wow...nearly 6 1/2 years since this request. I'd definitely appreciate being able to actually see where this feature is on the roadmap timeline. (Is there an estimated target delivery time?)

Also, how many people have to complain about this critical feature before something happens? Come on Proton, you can fix this.

The deeper I look the more I realize that Proton isn't ready for me. No dedicated Photos app (Drive doesn't count, no albums), no contact sync, no calendar sync, no doc creation aside from a word-like doc. Do better please.
