Customizable ProtonMail Bridge IMAP & SMTP server passwords
I am using Thunderbird as email client in combination with ProntonMail Bridge. I am syncing the Thunderbird profile (which does not only contain all emails but also all settings) between different devices. ProtonMail Bridge IMAP & SMTP server passwords will be different between multiple devices as these are randomly generated. The synced Thunderbird profile therefore can only be used on one device and always needs to be adapted when switching devices.
The possibility to chose the individual passwords for the IMAP & SMTP servers would be an approach to resolve this issue. With such a feature each device can use the same server passwords.

Bridge runs as a local server, even if you could set a local password it would fail to function if the device can't access your Bridge server.
If you set up a remote instance of Bridge, for example setting up a server on AWS and running Bridge there and exposing the ports to the internet, then all your clients can connect to it with the same credentials.
Just noting that this is not a recommendation to do that as this could pose a security risk if the server is misconfigured.

I'd like to use Spark as email client. Equal to what the initiator described re Thunderbird, Spark synchronizes the mailbox config across al instances on my different devices. I'd therefore welcome if the Bridgs IMAP and SMTP passwords could also be manually set.
