I would like to be able to sort my emails by sender.
Sort my emails by sender so that I can delete those I no longer want or need. I can do that in Yahoo and Gmail.

This is a make or break feature as to whether I will keep using Protonmail. It will be real a pain to change to another provider again, but Protonmail without the option to sort emails by sender is next to useless - no one has time to go through many many pages of emails to find old and unwanted emails for deletion.

It will be 3 years in November that this request has been made. It is a feature every other major email app has had since the beginning. What is the problem getting this implemented? Does Proton Mail have so many bugs they cannot work on critical missing features? Disappointed long-time paid user.

Add your votes and feedback to this thread:
https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/46945783-sort-by-senderIt has the highest amount of votes, and will gain the most traction. Fragmenting the requests into separate, poorly titled threads will not get the response from ProtonMail that is needed. Please work together to keep all the "sort by sender" requests in that thread for most impact.

I agree this is fundamental and essencial and an incredibly time saving option.
So far nobody can explain, whay it is so hard to program a sort by sender feature while sort by date etc. is just a basic sorting feature.
I stick with fastmail, even if less secure, just because it has a sort by sender + sort by subject feature. I cannot even express how halpful that is and I infinitely appreciate it.
Since months I kept looking into Proton over again, but there is no point in upgrading, as I will neber be able to use it extensively. With bulk email use tha lack of sorting feartures would make my inbox get chaotic. So I have to stick with Fastmail for the next year.
Maybe in 2025 something changes with Proton's search.

Can't believe this only has 5 votes! This is a FUNDAMENTAL function of any email client, and there are quite a few by now. To prune your 9999+ emails, you need to 1) select an email that has produced many emails 2) select all similar 3) delete all selected
