    I agree this is fundamental and essencial and an incredibly time saving option.

    So far nobody can explain, whay it is so hard to program a sort by sender feature while sort by date etc. is just a basic sorting feature.

    I stick with fastmail, even if less secure, just because it has a sort by sender + sort by subject feature. I cannot even express how halpful that is and I infinitely appreciate it.

    Since months I kept looking into Proton over again, but there is no point in upgrading, as I will neber be able to use it extensively. With bulk email use tha lack of sorting feartures would make my inbox get chaotic. So I have to stick with Fastmail for the next year.

    Maybe in 2025 something changes with Proton's search.

    For me not being able to sort by sender (or even by subject) is a deal breaker.

    Really regret I cannot switch to Proton. But I have a very full Inbox and it is impossibly time consuming to create filters for 100s of emails.

    If the Inbox can be sorted by date, by size, even by attachment by most providers, wha not by sender?? Should be common sence and essencial.

    I am really frustarated.
    So I have to stick with my other provider (even lot cheaper. I'd be willing to pay more for Proton's full feature option, but not being able to sort email in various ways is really my deal breaker).

    Right now is March 2024, and I still do not want to switch fully to Proton for that ONE reason ONLY = I must be able to sort my Inbox by Sender or even Subject. Proton cannot sort by sender :-(
    Fastmail can and I love it. Had to make a decision if to switch to Proton or renew my fastmail annual subscribtion. And annyongly, as much as I would love to go with Proton's full featrue set (Email. Passwords, VPN) I cannot.

    Versatile sorting email features for bulk email users are ESSENCIAL. Proton lags behind. Very annoying.
    Why is it so hard to program a "sort by sender"?
