Add a download option for email attachments in the android app.
Proton mail app does not give a download option for attachments, like gmail, etc. I get a .pdf attachment, and proton says I can't open it. I can open pdf files on my phone, but when I try to open a pdf attachment in proton mail, it says no app can perform this action. If I cant download it, I can't open it. Should I have to use another email service, or spend a bunch of time trying to get it through drive?

Until reading this thread I had assumed this was an issue with my phone, since there is a download button But it is just an image, not a live link to click. This would be pretty basic functionality even for free email providers a

I had the same issue with a CSV file.
I could not download the attachment unless I installed an app which can handle CSV files.
It's very silly this is not possible. -

I was actually quite surprised when I discovered I could do nothing with an Excel (xlsm) file sent to me: I couldn't open it--without using MS Office 365 (which I don't want to do) --and I couldn't even save it to the phone (to then open in some other app). So far I've not been able to figure out if I can force the phone to use some other app (e.g., WPS Office Lite) to view the xlsm file.
