Duck Duck Go provides an app that allows for app tracking protection on Android. It stops apps and tracking engines on your phone from sending personal data. It also tracks what apps and info is attempting to be sent. The problem is, it runs as a VPN, and Android cant run 2 VPNs.
If this was incorporated into Proton VPN it would be a massive leap forward for internal and external tracking protection. If you had it for Windows and IOS it would also be incredible.

Build this, or figure out how we can use Duck Duck Go and Proton VPN simultaneously on anrdroid. Might as well do it for windows and IOS next. Next level!

App Tracking Prevention
DuckDuckGo has this great feature where it essentially runs a VPN but it blocks traffic from android apps from being sent out. So, when data tracking engines and apps(e.g., Google, Adobe, Amplitude, Branch Metrics, or any app) attempt to send personal data from your device, DuckDuckGo blocks it. It also tells you what apps are trying to send info, and to who. Imagine the internal protection coupled with the Vpn external protection this would provide. Unfortunately Duck Duck Go product works as a VPN on phone, and you cant run 2 Vpns simultaneously. If Proton incorporated the same concept into the VPN then it would be the most effective VPN privacy product on the market!

Would this not be what we all would want from our VPN? Next level service. The ability to stop outside trackers and internal ones simultaneously. Seems like a no brainer, and a major privacy protection selling point.

Proton mail app does not give a download option for attachments, like gmail, etc. I get a .pdf attachment, and proton says I can't open it. I can open pdf files on my phone, but when I try to open a pdf attachment in proton mail, it says no app can perform this action. If I cant download it, I can't open it. Should I have to use another email service, or spend a bunch of time trying to get it through drive?
