Alphabetical ordering of calendars
Right now, calendars on Proton Calendar sort only by the order that they were created. I wish they were automatically sorted alphabetically instead. Thank you!

Be able to use "hide-my-email" of proton pass into proton mail in the "sender" dropdown
In "proton pass", when we create a hide-my-mail, I would like to be able to make a mail with "Proton Mail" in the senders dropdown...
Actually when we create one "hide-my-mail", we have to wait someone to mail to this alias, which then allow us to use the alias.
I'd be cool if all the created aliases in "proton pass" could be available in the list of senders in "proton mail" as soon as a hide-my-mail would be created.8 votes -
Adding an option to Pin an Email in the top of the mailbox
It would be useful to pin an important email on top of the mailbox because we can have too much ''Starred'' email.

Calendar: Book Yearly Event Help
One thing that is very much missing to me, coming from Gmail calendar. I would like to be able to book an event, and make it repeat yearly on a specific day and week of the month. In other words, book an event on the second Monday of February regardless of the date and have it repeat each year. This shouldn't be too difficult, every other option is there. I can book something yearly, and on the same date, but not as I described here. Thanks for any help, otherwise I'm enjoy Proton as a Duo account

Privacy-Preserving Notifications/Generic Notification Mode
Recently, reports involving Signal highlighted that operating system notification databases may retain sensitive information from message notifications, even after the original messages are deleted. While this example involved Signal and iOS, the same general risk may apply to other apps and operating systems where notification content is stored or indexed outside the app.
For privacy-focused users, Proton Mail and other Proton products should offer an option to use generic notification text instead of exposing message content in system notifications.
For example, instead of showing sender names, subject lines, or message previews, the notification could simply say:

LA CRM - Mailbridge Failure
Hi Proton Team,
This is a niche issue, but I utilize a tool called Less Annoying CRM (LACRM), which allows permits email logging required for my industry. On their help site (https://www.lessannoyingcrm.com/help/finding-imap-information-for-email-syncing), they specifically call out proton mail for being unable to sync with their tools:
"ProtonMail: their end-to-end encryption prevents a normal IMAP sync. ProtonMail’s “Bridge” tool does not solve this, so automatic email logging will not work."
Is there the possibility that the bridge tool could permit a normal IMAP sync without compromising the security of the tool?

Time-tracking Calendar Integration
One missing feature from the Proton Suite is a Time-tracking layer integrated in the Calendar app.
It would be a handy feature to toogle on/off alongside your planned schedule, in order to track the real time invested in your projects, get records and overviews, and be able to learn from them and improve your workflow. All with the same level of privacy and encryption of the other features.
Right now Proton users still depend on external apps to track their time, which don't integrate in the Proton ecosystem nor offer the same kind of data security. More on the contrary,…

dark mode toggle in-app
The mobile apps need to have a dark mode toggle just like the web version. I want to keep my device in light mode but have this app in dark mode just like every other company offers but for some reason it only syncs with your device theme. It exists for the web version so why is it overlooked in the mobile apps?

horizontal calendar mode in mobile app
In the mobile app (I am using IOS) I cannot turn my phone horizontal on to view the calendar in an extended aspect ratio. This makes the week view nearly impossible to use and limits you to the 3 day view on mobile. It works on the iPad app but not on the iPhone app so this seems to be a hugely overlooked feature.

Share and collaborate on emails.
There is a wonderful feature in Spark and Bluemail that allows the user to share an email with a pre-approved contact in lieu of forwarding and going back and forth that way. When you share an email with another user, a chat opens up in which the two users can discuss the content of the email without having to forward and comment in a new email. The absence of this feature is the ONLY reason my wife and I haven’t switched to protonmail desktop as our primary email client.

Import Mail Files from Mac OS Mail App
To make best use of proton mail app I need the chance import my existing mail archives - the files I have created in Mail on my MacStudio). Not being able to have my mail archives accessible renders proton mail meaningless. I cannot work if my old mails are not available in the system.

Block sender without opening the email
Opening suspicious messages shouldn't be necessary to block the sender, hate doing that.
A 'block sender' button at the top would be great next to 'move to spam' and 'delete'.

Creation of a Public Spam Address List
I suggest creating a public list of known spam addresses. This list could be initially curated by Proton Mail and then maintained and continuously updated by the community (for example, via GitHub).
Additionally, it would be highly beneficial to add, in this section (https://account.proton.me/u/78/mail/filters#spam) within each user account’s spam filter settings, a feature that allows users to upload one or more precompiled lists of spam addresses (e.g., in .txt, .md, .csv, .json, or similar formats). This would enable users to manage their own personalized lists and import them all at once, rather than having to mark addresses individually.

Strike agenda items
When deleting an event in the Proton Calendar, I still want to be reminded that it was there originally. Is it possible to offer two kinds of delete:
(A) strike through the event (so it is still visible in the calendar, but now the title is in strike through), or
(B) permanently delete the event?1 vote -
Lumo
I'm not sure why it's not available yet, but a lightweight LUMO integration that assists with email writing would be very useful.
It could correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, translate text, or even compose complete emails from short prompts — while asking for confirmation before sending.5 votes
