  3. Toggle between protonmail accounts easily no consolidated account

Same as Outlook, toggle between separate email accounts so emails are segregated to specific accounts rather than the current email consolidation into the one window from multiple prontonmail accounts

  4. Disable "Re" and "Fw" prefixes when replying or forwarding messages

It has been convention to attach prefixes to the subject every time during an email conversation, leading to subjects like:

"Re: Fw: Re: Re: Re: Original Subject"

Since email clients have started to group conversations, these prefixes are not really helpful anymore. I often remove prefixes before I send a message. An option not to add them, or even better remove them, upon replying/forwarding would be nice.

(Removing might be difficult though since those stupid prefixes often differ by language)

  5. Support de l'internationalisation des adresses e-mails / Support for internationalization of email addresses

    -- FR --

    — RFC 6530, ”Overview and Framework for Internationalized Email” décrit le cadre général. Si on ne lit qu’un seul RFC de la série, c’est celui-là.
    — RFC 6531, ”SMTP extension for internationalized email address”, qui indique les modifications…

  6. Permanent url to email

Often I want to store a link to an email in my notes or todo app (because I need to reference the email at a later moment). The link in the URL bar is currently not suitable for this, because when I archive the email, the link does not work anymore.

In other words, I want a link that points to a specific email, no matter the state (inbox, archived, trash...) it is in.

Can you add this option to the web app and mobile app please?

Thank you for considering this feature.

  8. Show all labels applied to an email on web

On mobile, if an email has multiple labels applied, all the labels are shown side by side.
On web, I only see one label an the symbol + and number that indicates any further label applied.
There is no need to hide labels on web, there is plenty of room to show them. Also this creates inconsistency with mobile.

  10. Support Plain Text for Proton Mail mobile app

I default to using plain text when using the Proton Mail web client, but the mobile app sends rich text emails with no option to switch to plain. I would like to request that you please consider adding an option in the mobile app to default to plain text for consistency.

  12. Column size issue with Inbox header (Enable Full Display of Sender Emails)

When I log in on on Protonmail via Web Browser, my Inbox appear as if it can be sorted by columns with the headers being All, Read, and Unread.

Here is what I see when viewing this display:
-the first column shows a favicon or initials of the sender
-the second column is a star or unstar
-third column is DISPLAY NAME of Last Responder (if it was sent to me, then it shows the senders display name, a reply shows my own email address which is not helpful)
-fourth column we have the Subject Line and this extends to…

  14. Make ProtonMail Bridge on macOS more power efficient & reliable on battery

For normal use, with multiple applications open and browser tabs in Safari etc I'm below 10% overall CPU use on my M1 Pro, drawing around 7-9W.

When opening mail.app and proton bridge I'm drawing 12-18W with frequent spikes into the 40s and overall user CPU usage is close to 20%.

Combined with the fact that my mail app regularly becomes unresponsive I generally just don't have my email client open when on battery, and rely on my phone or (ugh) webmail. If Bridge is going to be mandatory for using an external client (with FileVault & ProtonVPN on it seems…

  15. Alaska Airlines Cheap Flights

Have you considered visiting our lovely 49th state or sailing across Alaska? Then, think about Alaska Airlines. Also, Alaska Airlines offers flights to destinations such as Honolulu, New York, Boston, Canada, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and other Mexican cities. This is an excellent way to see a lot of Western America.

Moreover, Alaska Airlines provides a variety of flight options. Regional airline Horizon will now use the recognisable Alaska Airlines Eskimo insignia in place of its previously used public identification. Alaska participates in codesharing agreements with American and Delta.

  16. Configurable Triggering of PGP/GPG E2E Encryption From WKD

    Proposal:
Add a configuration slider "Enable automatic E2E encryption of emails to users with a WKD entry." This, as the text (hopefully) conveys, would enable or disable automatic PGP / GPG end-to-end (E2E) encryption for new contacts with a Web Key Directory (WKD) entry. By default, Proton operates as if this slider is enabled, and I would like to turn that off.

    Use Case:
I have been sending emails to users in a large organization which sets up PGP/GPG keys for their users, and posts these in a publicly accessible WKD. However, it seems they don't always properly enable that…

  17. auto logout

This is true for drive/calendar as well. Good you can use 2FA for login, but very bad it is stay open indefinitely. A kind of auto logout after an idle time is crucial for decent security.

  18. Unique password for individual email aliases

For better security , Kindly support to provide option of having different passwords for individual email aliases . Allowing multiple aliases sharing same password increases the probability of exposing to different threat actors targeting (with different capabilities) one single account to compromise.

Having different email ID with individual password will reduce the probability of compromise on exposure.

    Thanks,

  19. simplelogin (mail alias)

Ive noticed a thing or two.
    When using simplelogin mail alias.
you send over public key unless you disable it.
Would it be possible for Simplelogin to auto disable public key so you truly send mail with alias without handing out pgp keys with actual mail in it?
Or rename the public keys or generate a "simplelogin" pgp key?
OR simple remove pgp public keys when sending via alias?

  20. Selectively toggle email tracking protection

Currently, the only way to toggle email tracking protection is a single toggle in preferences, an all-or-nothing option that is not very useful due to how broad it is. Just like ad blockers can be toggled per web page, or NoScript can be toggled per domain, it would be nice if the trackers could be toggled per email. Sometimes I want to quickly view an email just to see what it is about without announcing to whoever sent it that I read it, but other times, such as with certain newsletters, I do want to announce to whoever sent it…
