Hide archived mails on label view
Please add a feature to hide archived mails when I'm opening label view.
I'm organizing emails with label by sender, but Proton Mail shows every emails when I'm opening label view.
I need filter functionality.

number of conversations on page
I would like to have an option to set the number of conversations per page to something lower than 50 so I can have all conversations visible per page and I don't have to scroll.

Group newsletters
The new newsletters is great! One thing I'd wish would be possible is to combine multiple newsletters.
E.g. I receive newsletters fro Github for each repository separately ("Github jgm/pandoc", "Github prusa3d/prusaslicer", etc.). Here it would be amazing to have the ability to combine these into a single newsletter group.

Go directly to the folder when using the 'M' shortcut
It's just ergonomics, but it would be nice to be able to go directly to the folder's name when using the 'M' shortcut in the mailbox. Currently, we have to type the first letters, then use the narrow button to go down to the folder's name, then select it with the space bar and click enter to perform the action. It would be better if we could just type the first letter and click Enter.

Proton Calendar: Remember reminder settings
It would be great if the reminders that I set for an appointment could be remembered and automatically set per default for the next appointment I create.
Example: I choose "Remind me in 1 day" as a reminder for an appointment. For the next appointment, "Remind me in 1 day" is already suggested (instead of the annoying default 15 minutes per notification and 15 minutes per email).4 votes -
only run filters against inbox
It is really a BAD, BAD idea to run filters against all messages. During the normal course of operation, a common thing to nappen is a receipt from newegg gets put into the ads folder.... I manually move it to my receipts folder.
Now, when you run filters against all messages - it moves it from the receipts folder back to the ads folder, which really destroyed my organization. I really only want the inbox sorted when I run a filter against "all messages" (for instance, I add a new store to my sorting that I hadn't filtered on before).…4 votes -
Proton Mail: "Move To" improvement (1 click instead of 2 clicks?)

I noticed that recently, Proton Mail has a slight change in the UI, meaning, when I click "Move To" to move an email to a folder, I now need to:
1st select the folder
2nd click the "Move" buttonAs an observation, I believe the way this was done before was way better: only click on the folder and the email was moved straight away. Sync the color of a calendar item in a shared calendar
First off, great that colors, sharing and changing a single item in a sequence are implemented.
But I would like one more thing. Sync the color of an calendar item if a custom color is set.
I like google's solution. That is a standard default color (1) for a calendar (which can be different for each member and is not synced). Reduce ProtonMail app PIN attempts to logout.
The app allows you to enter an incorrect PIN 20 times before automatically logging you out. It should be like Proton Pass and limit you to only 3-5 attempts before logging out.

Improvements Needed: Email Subject Line and Font Size in ProtonMail
I would like to draw the PM designers' and developers attention to the fact that the current ProtonMail app email view displays the subject line in the middle of the screen instead of on the left side. Additionally, the font size is considerably large, with the subject line and sender information taking up almost half of the screen, which looks unappealing. I request the ProtonMail team to change this by reducing the font size and aligning the subject line to the left side. Automatically load remote content through Proton VPN
For the load remote content, why not have proton mail automatically load them through Proton VPN? This would be really useful and convenient instead of having to manually enable proton vpn on the browser if viewing through mail.proton.me, or system-wide vpn/split tunneling. apple mail does this for you

Maintain checkbox selection, even when clicking into an email
I'm often going through emails to decide which I can delete. I'll have several emails already selected. If I click into one of the emails and then back out, all of my selections are gone. This has happened many times and is very frustrating.

Better handling for known-dangerous email sent to a compromised address
TLDR: Please give us a better option for handling email that is almost certainly dangerous, ie in my case email sent to an address that only receives dangerous email. Some suggested ideas at bottom.
I have a [service]@[myname].com email address, which I used many years ago to sign up for a service that is now defunct. It's one of many, many catch-all email addresses that I use on that custom domain.

Make it possible to use both simultaneously on desktop
It is absurd that you cant see the calendar and the mail at the same time. Means you have to open one or the other in the browser so the app is superfluous!!

If a user is using the Proton Mail PWA app on a mobile device, there is no need to show them ads for the Proton Mail mobile app
Currently, this ad is shown to the user, which is absurd, since they are already using the mobile app of this service.

Ability to toggle background while replying
Currently it is possible, when in dark mode, to toggle an individual email to light mode this can help view certain emails. Unfortunately the same isn't true when replying to an email and it doesn't retain the setting you may have applied in the previous screen.

Proton Calendar app is extremely slow
The calendar takes about 10-15 seconds to load. During that load time, it says “no events” for every day, which obviously misleads me when trying to take a quick glance at my calendar for the day.
Additionally, creating a new event is unbearably slow. When I tap the + symbol in the iOS app to create a new event, it takes about 20-30 seconds for the menu to even pop up. In the meantime, the app is just completely frozen. When it finally opens, it takes another 20-30 seconds after clicking “Save” for it to actually save. Again, the app…

Show the current folder selected emails are in
When I select multiple emails, some emails might already be in a folder.
This is not shown in the Folder pull down menu.This can be done by showing these folders above or below the standard folder list.
This will safe quite some time from searching the right folder.
