1. How to Unlock Password-Protected PST Files for Seamless Backup and Recovery?

   I have several old Outlook PST files that are password-protected, and I need to access them for creating a backup and ensuring recovery options are available. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the passwords for these files, which is preventing me from proceeding. Can anyone suggest reliable methods or tools to unlock password-protected PST files safely without risking data loss? I am looking for a solution that works smoothly and allows me to regain full access so I can back up and restore my Outlook data without issues.

4. More options for end dates on recurring events

   When entering recurrence the end date options are only "Never", "On date" and ""After". Can you add options to end:

   "After X occurrences"
   "After X months"
   "At the end of the year"

6. "Show busy times" for mobile

   Add 'show busy times' when planning an appoinment with others on the mobile app.

   Appointments are often planned on the go when one is not at the computer.

   Therefore, it is essential that the Proton Calendar app shows me the 'busy times' of other people when I am planning an appointment with them, so that the appointment can be scheduled appropriately.

   Otherwise, the mobile app is useless for creating appointments with others.

8. Custom recurrence rules

   I was not able to import a following recurring event via an .ics file:

   BEGIN:VEVENT
   DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20250124
   DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20250125
   RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=FR;BYMONTHDAY=23

   I would like to have a possibility to import this. This is supported by e.g. Google Calendar which I have replaced with Proton Calendar.

   More broadly this is to have support for importing recurring events with "custom" rules that wouldn't be possible to be created with the Calendar's UI.

9. Enable replication of email actions in EMClient

   When I used Outlook together with EMclient, any email action in one app (e.g. delete or saving in a folder) would be replicated in the other app.
   
   I now use EMclient together with Protonmail because at least I can sort by sender in EMclient - which a long overdue feature in Protonmail. But if i delete an email in EMclient its still sits there in Protonmail and is difficult to find amongst the many many pages of emails that have stacked up.
   Replication of email actions in one app - Protonmail - needs to be replicated in the other app - in this case EMclient and vv.
   
   To not provide this capability is living is the ages of dinosaurs - move on Protonmail or I will.

10. Silently mark as read duplicate messages that I receive because the message was sent directly to me and a mailing list I'm on

    Right now, if I'm on a mailing list (say, bicyclists@asdf.com) and a message is sent to both me and the mailing list, I get the message twice. It'd be nice if Proton either never shows me the second message (strongly preferred), or marks the duplicate message as read once I've read one copy of the message.

    This happens frequently when someone replies to a message I've sent to a list, because they hit Reply-All.

11. Create outgoing filters for the email and be able to send them to a folder.

    Add to the current filtering the ability to recognize the outgoing recipient, and be able to be filtered into a folder or folders.

14. Disable/enable notifications for specific hours

    Add the ability to choose time slot for notifications.
    E.g. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for professional notifications.
    This would particularly be useful if we can choose for which alias and/or folder we set the time slot.

    Example 1
    address@proton.me -> notifications always enabled
    address+alias@proton.me -> notifications enabled only from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    Example 2
    address@proton.me -> notifications always enabled
    Folder 1 -> notifications enabled only from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

15. Shortcuts to different calendar layouts

    I have still split my my events half in Proton and half in Google as I did not yet find a good solution.

    I distinguish between two calendars:
    - One for Events (like birthdays, meet colleague xy, holidays) => Everything I want to see on a monthly view, to be able to see when I am free
    - One for small stuff I need to remember during the day (write back xy, book flight) => I want to view those on a schedule overview where they are just listed

    I tried to do this in Proton Calendar with different calendars, but I never want to see both at the same time as it gets too crowded then. So to switch I need to toggle the calendars and switch the view, which is like 5 clicks, so too annoying to live with that. Also with app duplication features (like on Honor phones) it does not work as the current active view is synced into the account.

    My proposal:
    - Have some kind of layout feature where you can store the active view and simply switch between different views (active calendars, which view is active monthly, daily, etc).
    - In the best case you can even make shortcuts to those layouts on the phones home screen.
    - And even more great would be to have a different standard calendar set for new entries, depending on which layout is active.

16. Remove forwarding recipient confirmation

    I am using a third party application having a catchall mailbox. I would like to forward all emails with specific conditions to this mailbox. However, this is not working as the third party application won't confirm the confirmation request sent by Proton. Can we have an option to not ask for confirmation from the recipient?

17. Global busy calendar link

    Proton Calendar already allows you to mark many calendars as contributing their events to the user's busy time. Unfortunately, this is only visible within the Proton organization and there is no easy way to show people outside of proton whether you are busy or not.

    Proton Calendar should add an ICS link that can be shared in order for others to subscribe to your availability. The busy link can be passed on to colleagues or appointment software such as cal.com. The ICS file combines busy times from ALL calendars that the user has marked as showing themselves as busy.

    Alternatives considered:
    It is possible to share existing Proton calendars with a limited-access ICS link, but:
    1. this is a per-calendar thing and not a user-busy-time which combines information from all busy sources; thus requiring the audience to possibly need to subscribe to many of your busy links, thus leaking information on the different context of separate busy times.
    2. it is not currently possible to share a limited-access ICS link for proton calendar subscriptions; those would need to be shared elsewise.
    3. there may be issues with Proton's current ICS links in that they are read-only and may require manual updating. I am not sure on the details, but note the following message on cal.com:

    [Do not write to the ICS feed] If your ICS link is read-only (e.g., Proton Calendar), check the box above to avoid errors. You'll also need to manually update your calendar for changes.

18. Ability to add a short comment/tags to email addresses/alias's in proton mail

    It would be really useful to be able to tag or add a description to my email alias's within protonmail in order to easily show what their intended purpose is.

    For example I have an email address that is solely used for banking and being able to differentiate this within Protonmail would be useful, especially as I use more and more alias's.

19. Stop forcing the view to the top after loading an email.

    Every time I open an email to read it and start scrolling down, it always throws me back to the top of the email once all things related to it have loaded. This is extremely annoying when I'm dealing with 10s of emails a day. Please stop forcing the display of the email to override user input and reorient the view to the top of the email once it gets everything loaded.
